Z-fanatic music
This has nothing to do with the Z cars, or even Datsuns. I just want to share you our latest single (and making of video) from my band. Also included acustic version from one of our earlier songs. Feel free to move if in wrong thread. Thank you and hope you like the music.

Reverse not engaging properly
My 240z is having a bad week, i have to really wank the shifter to get it on reverse, it has original tranny. Is there anything i can do about it or is it going broken all the way? When it engages, it reverses as usual. It takes around 30 secs to minute to engage it. I do have 5 speed on the way here, but it takes at least 4 more weeks.

What year was the first for Green Ex and Brown In?
I looked in to the zhome, and i wish someone could make listing for paint codes used in european market. I know one 72 from here that had 907 racing green paint with brown interior but was later painted blue.

Speedometer swap and pinion gear question
I wrote to swap-section but no-one noticed it, so i wrote to here too. Im about to change the original mp/h gauge to km/h (from 71 240z) and i wonder if anyone has experience to share? Also im having a "new" 5 speed gearbox and i've heard that you must change pinion gear to get the correct reading to speedometer, what would be the correct gear?

Northernmost 240z?
- horn not wokring, help?
Just a "little" ot: When i drove my Datsun B310, it had only one operating horn (it has 2 also) In yearly inspection, they tested it and it sounded so goofy that the inspector laughed his arse off, he said he has never heard so miserable horn as my. as miserable as this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMyaN2Edh4c- Seat belt upgrade
I wonder is there ANY source for oem style retractors for 72? I hate these MSA belts.- Speedometer swap
I happened to get my hands to original KM/H gauge from 71 240z. I wonder how pain in the arse project it is to change the gauge? I'd love to make my Z as Euro as possible (also its easier to drive correct speed here with km/h gauge on) Do you have to calibrate it somehow or what?- BRE/Interpart Catalog Online?
Are these BRE cams expensive? been looking for slight performance improvement...- How Many Z Drivers Also Own BMWs?
We used to have -02 320D stw, it was a very good car to drive, with sport suspension and all the nice feats. BUT it was very expensive to upkeep (2000$ worth of repairs in FIRST month we drove it) so after 9 months (and 20.000 kilometers) we changed it to diesel 2004 Corolla. Its slow, and ugly but reliable as hell.- 73 starts but dies
Ballast resistor sounds right, did have same problem on mine, BUT also my ignition switch was bad so might wanna check that too- Seat question
Nice info zcurves, now i'd love to see some pics of installed Banzai seats for comparison! btw. the tailor said that he could not provide EXACT same fabric as the original...- Northernmost 240z?
Im 350 miles north from that latitude Actually there is 2 240Z's in our town, i just live a little more north than the other- Northernmost 240z?
Hiya. I've been part of this club for like 2-3 years now so it might be time to introduce my car. I imported this car from Anaheim in 2009, it was not driveable. It had broken head gasket and interior was smashed. Paint was new but it is el cheapo one, so i might have to repaint it in some stage. Currently the car is my summer daily driver and works like a charm. Biggest issues: -engine bay needs repaint, i have no experience removing anything bigger than starter so this could be interesting... -differential is screaming so it needs to be replaced, or restored on the way to its new home day after i got it in garage with highborn friend may-day drive in 2011 some random photo from last summer picture from head job, last fall and last but not least, 2 of most recent photos- the journey of my fairlady.....
You have parts that some are willing to die for! Nice thread, nice pics, nice car and most of all, nice job! - horn not wokring, help?
