FIL Classic Car Motorshow March 2010 - Lisbon, Portugal
Very NICE 2400GT!!!!! I have a RHD 1969 GC10 in Japan. My pictures are in CarDomain. Havent posted any of my car pics in here. Mine was parked for about 25 years inside too. 36500km And bought from the original owner. I would love to have some LHD 2400gt stuff. Especially the tail lights. Because yours have a yellow turn signal. They look very much like the Japanese GL 1800 and below c10 (4cylinder model Hakosuka lights) except the Japanese ones are 3 red squares on each side. 2000GT ones are 2 Red squares. 1969 and 1970 4 door GT GC10s are one rectangular red light with back up light. Back up light not in the rear bumper like yours. Love to chat with you sometime!

Left hand drive KGC10? 2400GT?
Very nice to see these Skylines all over the world. I have a 69 RHD GC10 in Okinawa Japan. Going way way back in this thread.... left hand drive domestic (Japanese) cars were made and sold in the Okinawa part of Japan in the early 70's. This was not done just for the military bases....well not specifically anyways. Sort of indirectly in a way. Basically, Okinawa was kind of under US military control. Japanese citizens actually needed passports to come to Okinawa. Okinawans needed passports to go to the mainland. Currency for Okinawa was issued by the US, Local police were actually MP's Most roads in Okinawa after WW2 were built by the US Army Corp of Engineers. Being Americans, they made the roads like they were back home. Set up to drive on the right hand side. Okinawans DROVE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD, NOT THE LEFT LIKE THE REST OF JAPAN!! Thats why there were LHD vehicles made specifically for the Okinawan market. Think of buses. Pretty tough to walk out in the middle of the street to get in bus that had the entrance on the wrong side.:stupid: Okinawa reverted back to Japan in 1972 or 1973. I came to Okinawa in 1975 as a kid. Everybody was still on the right side of the road then. I kind of remember the day everyone switched over to the left side. Believe it was in 1977.

Noddles 240K coupe
Nice find! and so cheap! I had a GC110 here in Japan back in the day, it rusted out pretty bad so I got rid of it. I have a Hakosuka now. Well, one on the road, another in the garage, and a s30 too. I wouldnt mind getting a Australian spec KenMary and bring it back to Japan... can you find another?!?

Triple Weber 32/36 dgv carb setup ?
Triple DGVS? Seems like a lot of trouble to set up:tapemouth And besides why bother when triple side draft DCOE webers and Mikunis have already been proven to work great!

Triple Webers: the low-down
My first response on this site is this old old thread. You can probably see my opinion of triples by my profile pic. LOVE THEM!! Wouldnt drive a L motor without em. I prefer the Mikunis myself, seem to stay in tune much better.
