Differencial Welding????
ive honestly been thinking about welding the centre as the price of LSD's are crazy. my question is this, would it be 'necessary' to have a lsd/locked diff in a 240k with a rb25det? or will an open diff suffice?

rb conversion in 76' 240k
As stated HybridZ.org dont have very much info on the K's. I fitted a RB20det into my 240k, Sold it to a mate & bought a RB25det half cut . ive already modified the crossmember when i fitted the RB20, will the rb25 use the same mounting points as the mount look totally different?? when others have done the conversion, what have they done with the wiring? since i got a half-cut i have the whole loom- what would be better, tap into 240k wiring using original wiring, or change all 240k plugs (lights, dash, accessories) onto r33 loom (is it possible)??

240K rear wishbone trouble
im trying to change the bushes in the rear wishbone on the IRS set-up on a 240k, I pressed out the standard bushes, but can seem to fit the new pedders bushes... there is a metal sleeve inside where the stock bushes sat, does the sleeve need to come out?? ifso how, ive tried pressing it out, heating it and it seems to be stuck?? next question, would R30 skyline rear wishbones bolt onto my 240k?

Pick up a project 240k 4 door.
yeah, you are probably right, mine had been neglected for atleast 8yrs in a paddock full of other cool cars (wish i could've had 'em all) front & rear windows smashed, roof jumped on, very heavy rust in front guards, doors, boot & bonnet. even though it was in such sh!tty cond. i still had to save it all the panels have had all rust cut-out and patched, complete pedders suspension & steering rebuild front and rear. new sport seats, rails, carpet, sport wheel, windows & lock set... im currently still doing the body work on the car(damn engine bay), when i finally finish the prep it will be getting a good coat of 'chrysler magenta' acrylic enamal:cool: im still tossing up on wheels as im caught between 15's or 17's

they are classic's , the more d!ckheads that kill these cars into non-existance are helping bump up the worth of 240k's that get looked after

datsun 240K carpet kit
i got my carpet for my '77 240k through Knox auto carpets on ebay, Burgandy plush, looks great. Gave it a quick size up, seems like a good fit(yet to know as my car is under full custom restoration). best of all, it was only $140+ postage for front and rear
