OEM Weatherstrip $
Well ordered a kit along with the door ws from BD, got it today and i have made a mistake. A lot of the pieces when you need more than one, the order page will tell you, this does not work for the .65 plastic clips. It does say 6 required, but when you click on the part # it will only enter one and this is what i got. Called customer service and all she had to say was "O well" Thought they would at least offered to send me the 5 remaining clips for free.

It must be more compliant than what we make at HSAA, we make WS for Hyundai, Kia and Chrysler.

Thanks, Wow i had no idea that OEM weatherstrip cost that much. With that bit of info from beandip, looks like i will be going with a kit from MSA or BD

Yes it is part of the kit that is sold by MSA and BD, but everyone seems to have a problem with closing their doors and have gone to using WS from KIA.

Oil Leak ?
I spent 4 hours on my back under my 77' 280z replacing my oil pan gasket. I was not sure where the leaks were coming from accumulated gunk in the skid plate and all around the steering gear assm. and cross member. The leaks have been there for some time, my thoughts was to start with the pan gasket. Well i am sure i might have stopped some but still have oil pooling up on the passenger side steering gear assm bracket. I can also see oil coming down the front of the engine below the CS pulley. It is very hard to see anything without having the car on a rack, where could these leaks be coming from ? Can i fix them without removing the engine from the car ?

Dirty fluid in clutch resivoir ?
I am going to replace the master cylinder, slave cylinder and hose ( it has more cracks in it than my old face ). My question is i have priced around and have found the whole gambit of prices, what exactly is the difference between a $50 and $20 master cylinder ? Are they that much better ?

Removing oil pan
Please, Can somebody tell me if the oil pan can be removed without lifting the engine? I have all the bolts loose and pan will not slide out freely without making contact with transmission housing or binding against the steering control arm. Thanks for your help.

Since i am having a problem with my clutch, it seems that the best thing to do is replace all components like i did with the brake system.

Help with clutch problem
I have been trying to drive my old '77 280z as much as possible, my problem is when you step on the gas a little to hard it acts like the clutch is slipping. my thoughts were that my dad did not replace it and the car now has 418,177 miles. going thru some of his old repair records, back in 3/17/04 he had the clutch, master cylinder, release arm and pivot ball replaced with 400,000 miles on the odometer. clutch slave cylinder was replaced on 2/16/04. I have not had much time to check things out, just wanted some advice as to what should i look at.
