COVID-19
As I understand things the antibody tests are unreliable. The FDA allowed unproven tests on to market, then changed their ruling later. Beside that, it's still unknown whether or not it matters. Immunity is not guaranteed. Best to just assume that you haven't had it. The FDA has been hollowed out for decades. Trust the individual scientists if you can, the bureaucracies are corrupted. https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/letters-health-care-providers/certain-covid-19-serologyantibody-tests-should-not-be-used-letter-clinical-laboratory-staff-and https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/coronavirus-covid-19-update-fda-provides-promised-transparency-antibody-tests

I don't know if these sites are just getting better or if I missed them first time around. But this one is pretty good, it shows the increase in cases, and the cases or deaths per capita. Click on one of the three labels and the map changes. You can see the hot-spots and which way they're going. https://www.theguardian.com/world/ng-interactive/2020/jul/15/covid-19-coronavirus-us-map-latest-cases-state-by-state

Thumping from right rear wheel.
The problem was supposed to follow the lug nuts, not go away. What kind of wheels do you have and lug nuts? Seems like you might have the wrong nuts for the wheel. And if the lug nuts actually got hot due to the thumping then your lugs have probably taken a beating. Just because the noise went away doesn't mean things are right. There might be some damage. p.s. I see your punishment Mark M... (that was a "nuts" pun, right???)

You're right site, but it's still worth keeping an eye on. New York's travel ban is up to 31 states. They have a set of criteria to judge against, for each state, and are a kind of barometer about which way things are going across the country. It was 22 for quite a while now it's jumped. https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory

Here's the latest on "surviving" COVID-19. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/07/200714144739.htm https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2020/07/19/covid-19-smell-loss-brain-attack-depression-anxiety-university-cincinnati-research/5451349002/ "You can't smell anything. Taste is botched. How depressing, right? Well, yes, that is right. But the real question is, why do you feel depressed when you have COVID-19 with smell loss? The answer could be that the disease caused by the novel coronavirus might be attacking your brain."

The Senate could still change all of this. They're hiding too, hoping nobody starts talking about it. They are the ones allowing the craziness to continue. A few words in the hallways and it would all be over in a couple of weeks. They actually bear more responsibility than the guy at the top.

I'm surprised that they're not offering free hydroxychloroquine to kids.

I really feel for the people who have kids. They, the kids and the parents, are being used as pawns in this crazy game. This is from The Guardian - "This is Lois Beckett, picking up this afternoon’s live politics coverage from our California office. Comments from a Friday radio interview with Missouri’s Republican governor, Mike Parson, are continuing to spark condemnation and alarm, the St Louis Post-Dispatch reports today: “These kids have got to get back to school,” the governor said on Friday. “They’re at the lowest risk possible. And if they do get Covid-19, which they will – and they will when they go to school – they’re not going to the hospitals. They’re not going to have to sit in doctor’s offices. They’re going to go home and they’re going to get over it.” “We gotta move on,” he added later. “We can’t just let this thing stop us in our tracks.” Among the many responses, the Post-Dispatch reported, was one Democrat running for governor in Missouri, who responded: “Does he not realize multiple American kids have died after being infected?” Dr. Eric Feigl-Ding, a Harvard epidemiologist, called the comments “dystopian”. Do the math on your gear ratios before you get one. That's one of the problems with most V8 swaps, the GM automatic transmissions like "tall" diff ratios. 3.3 and lower, I think. Hard to find in the R200. If you're going with a manual then the 3.54 or 3.9 should work.

At least clarity and a plan is coming soon... Trump said he would resume his coronavirus briefings, likely starting tomorrow. Trump held daily briefings at the start of the coronavirus crisis, but the briefings attracted widespread criticism because of the president’s frequent false and misleading claims about the pandemic.

Looks like the three groups are in Portland too. Working secretly apparently. Can you imagine being a young man or woman who joined one of these services when they were honorably run? Now they have to attack fellow citizens and military veterans. It's like Kent State. https://komonews.com/news/local/navy-veteran-beaten-at-protest-says-he-was-enraged-to-see-federal-officers-in-portland https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_State_shootings

COVID-19
Reminds me of how I've always thought it was odd that "surviving" an accident is all that's reported for shootings, car accidents, etc. "She was shot in the face seven times. She'll survive." "He was burned over 60% of his body. But he'll survive." If you simplify things down to "surviving" then we don't really have anything to worry about. Didn't die? You'll be fine.

Clutch fork throw
Start a new thread with a descriptive title. Many forum members are only interested in certain things, and only browse the titles or certain sub-fourms. "Clutch fork throw" probably isn't a big club, except for some of us. It drew me right in.

Who was that then? They're out there somewhere.... Here's one but it's not the one I was thinking of. I think it was on Hybridz.

The R200's are strong and you can get an LSD for them. It's torque and traction that kills diffs. Big tires and a torquey motor, along with some gear banging will blow up any diff. There are V8 swaps with R180's out there. They just don't drive them hard.

Click on choose files underneath the response box. A new menu will open that lets you pick files from your computer or phone. When you pick them they will be put in to your response.

Sometimes they flatten a lobe even if everything is done right. @madkaw knows, if I remember right. Who is the camshaft shop that he uses?

You can just look at the diff and tell a 180 from a 200. Or post a picture up.
