Im looking into the z car and doing a swap v8z however I have a question on the two transmission options from what I have researched the automatic is more "drivable car" with a v8 is this true??

im looking into a z car for myself and im wondering what kind of quarter mile times should I be expecting with a stock v8 mod and leaving the rear end and tranny stock?? Simon

One more question how hard is it to find aftermarket and original parts??? for the Z cars?? I dont plan on keeping the car all original so im hoping the car has great aftermarket parts support inside and out

The TB could be sticking(clean it) or the accelerator cable (lube it)

maybe your fuel pump? and is the fuse the correct size

I really have started to notice how cool the Older model Z cars are and im thinking of getting one I was wondering how hard and how much would it cost to restore one? I dont want to do anything extreme I just want it to run great have good modern suspension (possable lowering) a fresh paint job with a good rim and tire combo and good advice? Simon
