10-4. I hear ya guys. I merely meant an easy fix, but that's OK. Mostly I just have to get it moved before sweep day. Stupid street sweepers....give me a freaking ticket if it's on the street...Ill keep working on it. I think I might be able to push it into the driveway before then. Hopefully Ill be able to anyway.

And just another of the gauges. With the Rims and rear louvers (spelling?), are they popular? Cause people have been trying to buy them off my uncle like crazy since I parked it at his place..

As promised here's a few more photos. I rinsed her off with the hose in an attempt to take off some of the dirt. Took some off, so she looks a bit better.

Blasted gulldurnit! Well, No to the fuel pump noise. At least I don't think I heard it. I'll check on Friday. I have to go from one town to the other. It's not all that far, about 15 or so miles. I might end up doing the friend with a car bit. I don't have a trailer, and don't know anybody with one who'd let me use it. My uncles does have a truck, so that might help. Unfortunatley, my mom used the last of my AAA towing miles that I had for free. I had around a 100, but she used them (just found that out today) through out the year. Oh well, thanks for the help. Just have to keep working on it.

Need some help...
I've got to move my z from it's present location and own neither truck nor trailer, and can't rent one either. so I'm hoping to be able to drive the car to it's new home.I appreciate anything anybody can help with. She needs: ~Brakes bled - I did them as I normally would, front and back. Still have no brakes. No stopping power aside from the E-brake. ~Clutch - needs bleeding. Bled them as I knew how. Nothing still. ~Fuel - OK, so here's a big let down. Its not pulling fuel from the tank. So I'm not sure if it's the fuel pump or injectors. Everything else appears to be in good or OK condition. Any ideas how to assess these issues quickly? Thanks.

No, he didn't (to my knowledge) ever own a Z. I forgot to take pics today. Kinda got wrapped up in working on it to get it running again.

New owner of a Z!!
Thank you all very much. Like I said, I can't wait to start playing. I'm hopeing I can move her (don't know why but the car strikes me as a female personality) down to my house so I can be able to work on her daily. Again, I'll take more pics here soon today and upload them when I do. I haven't gone through the entire vehicle, but I did find an entire brand new rear quarter window with trim on it. So, I'm off to go to my new project/toy/passion/hobby/never-ending-wallet-killer.

'76 280z 2+2...
Well, im not sure where to post this, so if I placed it wrong, I apologize. Please move to the correct forum if need be. Next week I'm hoping to go look at a Z. It's a 1976 280Z 2+2. Direct from the owner: "I prime started it and it ran great. Lady who owned it had it in storage, now its in mine. She said she drove it in in '95 and unplugged the starter. We reconnected that (it was the alternator) Said she was afraid of it being stolen from her again (key ignition etc. is all intact or have been repaired) She even removed most emblems but I have them. A few new parts go with it (All new hoses, etc.) I think she must have disconnected the fuel pumps power, or a glass/tube type fuse when she stored it (One fuse is missing) It doesn't seem to pull fuel on its own. I haven't messed with it much besides changing all tires, adding gas to the tank, and prime starting it, then pushing it into my storage. Haven't had much time. The brakes and clutch need to be bled as well. I can guarantee it as a good complete 280z with an excellent motor, haven't tested the trans or drove it. Interior is a rust orange color, looks OK, few cracks in dash, has seat covers, looks OK other wise. Just over 100k miles. Pretty clean original 280Z, brown exterior, straight body, Western aluminum wheels, decent tires." Any ideas what I might be looking at as far as issues? I don't expect a full diagnostic, as I know that's impossible without anyone looking at it. I'm just looking to get a general idea of where to go from there if I do buy it. Thanks in advance to everybody.

So I've noticed. But I'm in no rush to just jump into a project. I want one I can have fun with and all that good stuff. Next week, I am going to take a look at one, see if it looks good. I live in Riverside/ Moreno Valley. I go between the two.

Hello all! Thought I'd drop in and say hey. Never owned a Z, but love the lines, and can't wait to pick mine up hopefully next week.
