  2. Great to hear! I plan on taking that ride when my car is done =) What was the name of the seafood restaurant?
  3. Beautiful buy! My #5998 isn't too far off either!
  4. The car is so close to you! Only like 10 miles from me... hmmm, looks like a promising buy. Too bad I'm not in the market for one..
  5. I'm down Dave, just sent you a cashier's check a few days ago for the Headlight Harness... I'll send paypal for this, and maybe you could package it together? Payment sent for $65. Also please let me know if you got the payment for the harness yet - spitz17 (glenn)

    video

Windows Movie Maker? I believe you can just install it and it's free?
  7. Welcome to the club! There is a Sacramento Z club you should consider joining up with! Best of luck with the car
  8. Man those roads are beautiful... I would love to put that on my bucket list of roads to drive... (Btw, take the "" out of the link)

    Springs

The rims will raise the car a bit, especially if you are on stock springs. Stiffer struts will accomodate the stiffer springs. Stock height is pretty high... and most springs that are on the market... the fronts are pretty high. You could go with a Tokico HP Shock/Spring set up... I've heard that lowers a set up quite a bit.
  12. Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone sells this clip in a rebuild kit, or is it even necessary? With a rubber seal and metal washer behind it, it holds the push rod of the brake booster in place. I removed my M/C this week to check if my reaction disk was still in place, because I have been having braking problems. Upon removal of the pushrod, I noticed the retainer clip was missing, and I've been trying to source one on the the internet with no luck. If anyone has an extra, please let me know =) Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Spitz17
  13. For sure, any other confirmed people?
  14. I'll go if my car's done by then Rebello is building my engine as we speak... Was the baby blue car up there Craig's car? Such a beauty.
  15. Have a good trip Land of great weather, wine, celebrities, and rust-free Zs!
  16. If you decide to go the longer stud route. A good option are the Rear Studs of a Nissan Quest. You can put these on the front and rears... I have done so, and I never have to worry about too short of studs again. I believe any year works. You can purchase these at your local Napa shop.
  17. Hybridz.org is a bit more active than this site, with a younger modify-friendly crowd. Although there is a lot of older crowds on this site... keep in mind that is just more experience, especially if they've owned their Z cars for a long time
  18. Definitely a workable car. Congratulations on the purchase!
  19. Thank you for all your help guys. At this point I may be going the "while I am at it route..." and purchasing a engine from Dave Rebello. A 3.0L Stroker is the kit I am prospecting right now.
  20. Welcome to the forum Rejor11! I am not sure if it was a typo or not but the 1982 280 was a ZX, not a Z. The 280Z was offered from 1975-1978 (79?), and the 280ZX ran from 1979-1983. Either case, they are both excellent cars =) Good luck with your search, and keep your eyes open on the classified forums, as 280ZXs pop up quite often! You can even go for the 280ZX Turbo!
