  1. The replica 'Euro' spoiler pictured on the yellow 240Z above is made by Fourways Engineering: Fourways Engineering Classic Sports Car Specialists They have two versions available: just the front spoiler (a bolt-on) and the one piece valance + front spoiler pictured above. From what I've gathered, I don't think they'll ship to the States (don't quote me on that!), which is why I am picking it up on of each version in person during my trip to the UK later this September.
  2. I own a BRZ and I have to say I do agree with you. While the driving characteristics of the cars in my opinion are not that similar, the driving philosophy and 'fun' behind the creation of the two cars are.
  3. Great!! I'm excited. Got rid of my overkill Wilwoods (was never able to correct the bias). Trying to keep things simple, since it is a street car.
  4. Steve, how has the restore worked out for you? Rob - I just purchased a set of Sumitomo's from Eric as well. He will be doing my 911 brakes too!
  5. The one's that are original to my car have a few chips here and there, no major cracks. 41 years and counting!
  6. 1969 Porsche 911T w/ the Z :classic:
  7. Mine doesn't blink that fast, most of the time normal, but occasionally speeds up for a split second then returns to normal speed.
  8. Congrats Julio! Great pictures.
  9. Porsche short wheel base 912 or long wheel base 911T, if you can find one that's affordable Easier to work on than most people think!
  10. I just purchased two First Alert Auto Fire Extinguishers found on Amazon: First Alert Auto Fire Extinguisher - Amazon.com 4 1/2 Stars through 37 reviews, compact, and has a bracket to mount to. I received them yesterday and they are great build quality. I place it conveniently in a side pocket in the 911 and behind the passenger chair on the Z car.
  11. Yeah, it definitely is smaller than the stock wheel with a wider grip. I can't imagine it being smaller than 350mm, as 70's steering wheels all seem to be medium sized! Stay tuned guys.
  12. Absolutely loving it. Took it to the race track a few times. What they say is pretty much true, zero power but a whole lot of fun!
  13. I want to say my Datsun Compe wheel is about 350mm, but I could be wrong. I'll try to take some measurements of my spare wheel today. Assuming the replica wheel has the same dimensions, it shouldn't be too far off.
  14. Wow those look outstanding! Rob -- I picked up '69 911T, and I'll be sending my brakes to Eric in the near future. Thanks for all the help! A 'storage' find, and great deal. -Glenn
  15. tamo3, I've heard good things about Retrosound. I'm sure you'll be satisfied, but are your speakers working? Sorry, no pics of my receiver. I have a factory Datsun 8-track.
  16. Looks like you've been bit by the Z bug. PM me and I'll invite you on FB to a small Bay Area 240Z Group my friend and I run. Post some pictures of your car and these rare parts! Welcome to the forums, and hope you enjoy driving you Z car!
  17. Looks like you are starting from a very solid platform. Good luck, and glad to see a backlog of items to fix! Now have fun!
  18. Rest in Peace. Never met him, but valued his advice on these forums. He posted all the way up until two days ago.
  19. Gotta love it when people actually most a lot of pictures!
