Replacement seat covers
Thanks for the replies fellas, when either of you who have bought them get the chance take some pictures for me and let me know how well you got on once fitted that would be great. Hardway, I am tempted now to order the cheaper synthetic covers from your description

Shaved rear end, no bumper.
I like the bumperless rear end, but am planning on making mine which is the 1st picture more like the standard more curved back end like the 2nd image this winter, still bumperless though.

Replacement seat covers
I know there are quite a few threads on this subject already, so apologies for that, but has anyone any experience of these replacement seat cover kits currently on Ebay? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170861451633?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 They look a better finish than the MSA kits, which dont get the best reviews, but I would like to know from someone who has used them before I am pressing the Buy it now button, thanks.

Datsun 240 Z SUPER SAMURAI?
Which car have you seen for sale? Can you scan a copy of the advert for us over here in the UK. I have a 260Z Sam and am always interested in hearing about them.

the journey of my fairlady.....
I totally understand that Rahail, the UK club forum is very insular and cliquey at times. Such a shame for such a small number of vehicles. I have that mag, and have met up with Glyn on a couple of occasions, and that spoiler was a shocker wasn't it... Also, almost as ironically, I nearly bought your old white car before I bought the Sam, the fact the chap who owned yours had put old style 260Z wheels on it put me off as well as ythe fact he was not for negotiating on price and then the Sam thing just got the better of me and I bought it for less than he wanted for yours, which judging on the way Samuri prices have gone over the last few years thanks to JD Classics it was a good move... There are plenty of NW meets this year so It would be good to see you at one of them, The LakeZ at the end of June should be a good weekend again, it was last year. Anyway, if you decide to have a garage sale of unwanted rarities, let me know and I'll be straight over, good luck with both projects and definitely keep the updates coming. JK

the journey of my fairlady.....
Hi Rahail, Just come across this thread, what fantastic reading and an incredible collection of such rare parts. Where are you now with regards to the build, did you use the gearbox, are we likely to see the car on the road soon? How come you chose to write on here rather than on the UK Zc Club site, no forget that I think I know....

Brake light in speedo?
Hi, does anyone know when the little red light in the speedo gauge that says "brake" on it lights up. Should it be linked to the handbrake or is it just a brake warning light. Just mine has never lit up and wondered if I needed to look behind the gauge at changing the bulb or checking the wiring to the handbrake. Thanks
