  1. Hey dont you know that Ferrari is Italian for Fiat.... :stupid: An interesting side note, I was in Italy this summer for a week and did not see a Ferrari the whole time I was there. But, spent 3 days in Munich Germany and saw one Lamborgini and several Ferarri's.
  2. hmm, well you get what you pay for...
  3. A great sounding solution, as I ran that same setup on my Z over 10 years ago, but not the best for performance. I suggest 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 all the way back to a flowmaster muffler. You'll get a great sound with improved performance.

Victor your photos are correct, however the rims pictured previously to your post do not match the pictures you forwarded. I am very certain that rims posted prior to this post are Appliance Wheels.
  5. Quite frankly there are lots of "restorations" that are not the factory color...Although it would imply that a resotration would be the original color. But if it is done right a color change can be done without dramatically effecting value. Taking the car down to bare metal etc. I will agree there is nothing worse than door jams or underhood color changes or worse yet Zolatone coverup of the underhood area....

orange 260, I have had a set of those rims on one of my Z cars. They are the correct offset for the car. Actually, those wheels pollished up to a high luster look great on the car in my opinion.

the reason your tires rub is because 225 tires are too wide for those rims on your car. the largest you can fit are 205's, if you lucky 215's. But 225's on those rims will rub like crazy.
  8. If the car is very original, which it most likely is not. Then it would be a big deal to keep the stock color. If the car has been modified and you have changed other items or modified other items then it is not a big deal. BUT, there are professional paint jobs and then there are complete restorations. Most Z's I have seen have been painted on the outside but the engine compartment and door jams have not been painted which looks like crap to me. Are you going to strip the whole car down to bare metal and start from scratch or just paint it?

those are Appliance wheels with Enkie stickers on the center caps. They are not Enkie 92's. Sorry....

  11. Well guys I just got word from Sports Car International magazine that they will be running an article in their magazine next issue (due out in 30 to 45 days) with my BRE 240Z replica. The weekend of December 18th we finished getting my Z running in time for the JGTC. That Sunday afternoon Peter Brock fired up the car and drove it over to the pit area at California Speedway for a photo shoot with a JDM 350Z (see photos in my gallery). Anyway the article will be out in the next Issue, be sure to go to your news stand and pick up a copy or two.

  25. $5600 for #25 is a deal as long is it is all there and not a rust bucket. Best thing to do with that car is keep it in as close to factory condition as possible. OR you could make a pretty nice profit selling it on the open market.
