You can contact PDK directly for additional photos. It is a smooth surface. Keep in mind that this is a RACE DASH and this is not a factory replacement part. It is made to look like the factory part but is 40 lbs lighter than stock.

How much $$ have you spent on your Z ?
This industry is amazing. By far the guys that I know that live and breathe Datsun restoration struggle to make ends meet, yet I see so many of us spending upwards of $10K or more. I think the better question is what do we spend in what time frame. In 2004 my CC receipts total over $14k alone for my race car. This was a good year and a full restoration on my car. Unfortunately I am not done...probably another 3k to go or so. The reality is a full restoration on a Z car will cost close to $40k USD if done right, beginning to end, depending on your personal involement. I am surprized that we have not seen these cars start to really escalate in value like some other marques. Parts are getting harder to find.... At the end of the day. It's worth it, it's what I have always wanted and makes me happy just to walk out into the garage and look at her...

Road Atlanta 1977
Can't read the side of the door but it looks like Dan Parkinson's car!? This would be the reminants of the BRE #46 after it was wrecked in Phoenix. Dan Parkinson has been a little difficult to get ahold of in recent times.

Me Trevor and John at Nissan
Full throttle is a new reality show that will run on the history channel, I have not seen the pilots, but understand that they will have a contest between two teams to build up racing 240z's in two days. The winner keeps both cars. They were looking for some background on the 240z and wanted to interview john and trevor...Nissan contacted me to have my car in the backgound of their interviews.

Shocks
I would consult Eric Messley and or Don Oldenberg here in Southern California. I believe that Eric worked on your car for the previous owner BTW. Koni, Ground Control and Tokico are your best choices. Penske are available but $$$$
