  4. For a street car, I always liked Suspension Techniques springs. For sway bars, Design Products Racing. For Energy Suspension, Classic Datsun Motorsports.

  7. i was very happy on the street with tokico adjustables. they are a little more $$$ but worth it. they are the easiest way to tune your ride the way you like it without buying lots of suspension parts.
  8. Depending on what media is used, (there are several different types). Will depend on whether or not it will effect the surface of the metal, if you use a media that does disturb the metal it will rust very rapidly. If you use a media that does not it will not rust for some time....regardless once it is media blasted you will want to keep the car in a dry warm location if possible to prevent rusting. With my car I did all the rust repair, and some additional welding prior to epoxy priming the car. In preping the car, your blaster will want to see the car as clean as possible because anything that comes off the car will contaminate the media. So the cleaner the better. the one thing you want to be prepaired for is that the media will get into EVERY nook and cranny. I still have some media falling out of my car periodically. I would suggest blocking off some areas that will trap media and make it hard to get out. Hope that helps. R

The Restoration of HS30-000002 is an uphill battle for sure. There does not appear to be a straight panel on her. A good early donor car is going to be necessary to repair this one properly...good luck.

  14. Les Cannaday, Classic Datsun is the only way to go. He has the largest collection of parts for sale of anyone I know. He is the most reasonably priced and if it is available he will get it for you. The other guys have catalogs...Les has the stuff. R

  17. What kind of "restoration" are you looking for? Daily driver or concours? Most autobody shops are looking for insurance work because it pays better. This is the slow time of year for them so you should be able to find a reputable shop that can do your rust repair and paint. If the San Diego area is an option I can make a few recomendations. R
