  3. Well guys I just got word from Sports Car International magazine that they will be running an article in their magazine next issue (due out in 30 to 45 days) with my BRE 240Z replica. The weekend of December 18th we finished getting my Z running in time for the JGTC. That Sunday afternoon Peter Brock fired up the car and drove it over to the pit area at California Speedway for a photo shoot with a JDM 350Z (see photos in my gallery). Anyway the article will be out in the next Issue, be sure to go to your news stand and pick up a copy or two.

  17. $5600 for #25 is a deal as long is it is all there and not a rust bucket. Best thing to do with that car is keep it in as close to factory condition as possible. OR you could make a pretty nice profit selling it on the open market.
  18. That goes without saying... R
  19. I would look to ZONC in northern california since this is from the blackhawk show.

  22. If it is an early B box, those gear ratios are really good for the track with a 4.44 differential. It should have steel syncros too... R
  23. If it is not a dog leg box then it is not the rally box. (I have had a rally box and you dont want it anyway). I stick with my original guess. R
  24. 26th, yes the car has come a long way since the convention...it really has changed...it's hard to explain. I corrected a few decals, added the American Lemans wheels, got it running and driving, Lowered the car, put a Racing alignment on it, and presto!!! There are a few details left, a heat shield for the carbs and correct headlight covers and she will be done. A short list for MSA... Gav, the headers are a copy of Peter Brocks design in 1970. BRE never sold this header to the public, and quite frankly there are newer designs now that probably work better, but this header is really unique. There is one guy in North America who has the original header and he made a copy for my car. The cost of this header compaired to a header from Jere Stahl is astronomical, but for historical accuracy.... BTW, Gav I have Light Weight Racing Panasports for race wheels, the American Lemans wheels are for show. anyway, Thank you all for your nice words it has been a great project and I am looking forward to sharing the car with everyone at MSA. R
  25. if it is a 5 spd, B box most likely it is a FS5C71B, which is an early Japanese 5spd. The last one of these I bought used ran me $100.00 USD. Is it a dog-leg transmission or does it have a standard shift pattern?
