1969 Fairlady Z Japanese newspaper advertisement
Don't mean to go off topic, but, OMG, I love the viewer! This is exactly what I'm looking for to display pages in a magazine. Anyone know how I can find out who wrote that software so I can buy it?

Stupid lighting question
Guys, I wouldn't be doing my part if I didn't encourage you to run this transaction through MSA. It's only fair to do this for both MSA and Dave, equally. Dave used to sell the harnesses direct to members, but, he formed an agreement with MSA to sell it. In my opinion, I think that means we shouldn't encourage private sales on this site. I look up to him for creating such a great product for the Z community and having the Entrepreneurial spirit to form a relationship with a company like MSA to sell his product. You'll have a great experience buying the harness and using it. And you know who the manufacturer is, so, obtaining technical support should be a breeze! Mike

Appraise mine?
I don't want to hijack this thread, but, Dave *I* was the one who deleted the posts about stealing from the junkyard. $0.01 to 1MM, we don't encourage walking parts out of anywhere. It's not good for the soul.

Appraise mine?
Well I guess the word "purist" is a relative term. Most of us on this site has some kind of modification. The EI modification is actually a very good one because points are/were so unreliable. I have the 280z EI swap and it's awesome. Anyway, I think you can find many helpful threads here to help you figure out the problem with your EI. Other mods may change the value of an early car depending on what was done, and I'm sure you'll see plenty of helpful responses here. But, your best value is to make sure the work is always done RIGHT. Cars with quick fix-me-ups can be seen a mile away, so, I encourage people to always do it the right way the first time.

Whoa, what happened to Hybrid? Did they sell the business? Looks like a lot more ads and some interesting forum software.

240K Classifieds
Hi guys, I wasn't sure if you saw this or not, but, I just created a new all Datsun classifieds websites. If you're interested, I also added a section for the 240k. While I'm not too savvy on the market down under, I thought it might help. Mike

Probably an ad to sell it, the guy should just put it on our classifieds. But, the paint is an interesting color. I wonder what size Panasports he's running. Any reply here on the site?

Registration for Datsun Driving Canby Fun 2010 (Oregon) is now open.
Ah, yes I forgot the $40 entry fee is only if you register day of the show. If I pre-registered, the fee is less money. Maybe next year I'll throw a set of SU's on there and see what happens in the stock class. We all need to represent the club with a sticker or something as well. Maybe we should assign someone to that task.

Replica Inspection stickers

I would guess there were probably more cars in the open parking area this year. The show car area seemed to have a lot more trucks and 510's than Z's or roadsters but the balance wasn't too bad for a small show. But, a majority of the cars were in the open parking area. The entry fee of $40 to compete and $5 for the open parking area is a pretty big difference. I would think more people would want to compete if the club brought those numbers closer to each other. I don't have a lot of experience doing this kind of thing, but, a parking fee of $10 and a show fee of $30 might work. I always thought the parking fee was pretty low and I've never been in a competition, so I could be way off. Anyway, I had a great time. It was a good place to see everyone and get excited about Datsun again.

Canby 2010
We showed up in the afternoon today and I was impressed at all the cars. We drove down the highway and found a nice place by the river for the night. Tomorrow we will be there to have some more fun. What a perfect weekend for the show. Forecast says 74f for Sunday. That's a great temp for walking around a park looking at zed's. See you guys there!! Mike
