Hi Jmark, Yes, there is a way. I added a link in the profiles called "Forum Profile" and it will show you the additional information you need. -- Mike

Put The Old Profiles Back??
Yea, if you guys think I need to change something with the profiles, I'm listenin! I thought about getting rid of the unnecessary items such as the blogs and the Xbox profile thing. I thought they would be fun, but, might be more confusing than anything else. The blogs are cool because you can keep people up to date about your car if you want.... Bill, let me translate 1Bravo6's Australian to Arkansanian - "Goodonyamike" is the same as "Gooder n' grits, Mike."

Put The Old Profiles Back??
What's missing from the new profile system that was in the old one? The old profiles are still there. You can see them by clicking on "Forum Profile" and it will appear.

Naw, it just wasn't in BOLD like the rest of the numbers. I just changed it to add the bold because I had the same problem. ..

exhaust smell
The exhaust backwash can be reduced by extending your tailpipe beyond the bumper. I have mine pushed out about 1/2" beyond the bumper and it works great. Here's a link to some conversations we had about exhaust tips in the past: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24927

Put The Old Profiles Back??
The system has the ability to control who will see your information. For instance, you can set it up to only show your address and email to people in your "network" or explicitly allow. You have complete control as to how much people see about yourself. Our old system didn't have this ability.

Put The Old Profiles Back??
Hi guys... how many questions is it asking? The new system will give you the ability to profile your car better, show off some video, and other stuff.... I just added a link on the top so you can open the old forum profiles. Oh, and if you don't think we need items in the profile area... just let me know. The profile area can be used for networking (with people), blogs, comments, etc.... If we decide this is too much, I can remove pieces that we don't think are necessary. With that said, if we removed networking and comments, I think the system will work very well for people to keep journals (blogs) and show off details about their car with photos and specs.

Put The Old Profiles Back??
I've just completed a new modification to the Classic Zcar Club. A new profile system has been added and gives any member the ability to totally customize their own profile (very similar to a "My Space" page). This is one of the coolest additions I've come up with for the site, so, don't forget to check it out!! To see any profile, simply click on the username and view the profile. You can modify your own profile within the system as well. I will be making changes to the profile system over the next few weeks by adding ports to our photo gallery and other cool features. Check it out! Click HERE to see my profile now. Have fun!

What 240Z Design elements would you like to see in the new Z?
Nissan seems to be coming out with a lot of new toys in '08. The Nissan 350z, the new Infiniti G37 sedan/coupe, a smaller 300hp FX-type car called an EX, and a redesigned FX. And, let's not forget the Skyline. Frankly, many of these cars are exciting to me. I think Nissan seems to be listening to their customers.

Who will be at the Datsun Driving Canby Fun event?
I'm going to be there. I will also pay in advance so the management team can count on some revenue to make the event a success. If it's raining, then that's a bet I'll have to play. I don't know much about politics or whatever else is going on with the NW gang, but, I want to be a part of something fun and show my car to other Datsun fanatics. That's what it's all about. As for the fee, Dave/Bruce, I'd rather pay less money and skip the donation to charity. I do plenty of my charitable donations through other means and you might attract more people at $20 than you will at $30. Anyway ... see you there!

Who has photos?
Does anyone have photos of the Motorsport Auto Nationals they wish to share? I'm probably not the only person dying to see photos of the new location and events. Here's a link to the gallery: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=3425

MSA's Sunday Show thoughts
Sounds like it was a good day! I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it. Did anyone upload photos to the gallery yet? I really want to see the cars. If you don't want to go through the hassle of uploading the photos, send me a PM and I'll give you my address. You can ship me a CD and I will bulk-upload them to the site. I REALLY need to see pictures. I'm dyin!! -- Mike

What S30 parts are the most difficult to find?
I've had a hell of a time finding interior finish parts, specifically the door skins. Electrical parts such as the lighted rear defroster switch, wiring harnesses, and a good electric antenna. Electrical connectors were also VERY hard to come by when doing my rebuild on the harnesses.

svannah z---say it ain't so!
Sorry to see you have to sell the Z, Jonathan. But, just because you don't own a Z anymore doesn't mean you have to reduce your visits to the club! We'll still accept ya.

PDX Roadster Show
Yea, there was some funny looks at the PDX show, but, it wasn't too bad..... the show management supported our team with open arms. It was funny because many of the hot-rodders stopped by and said how they either owned a Z at one time... or knew someone who did.

giving up my 280Z for a BMW E39 M5?
Get 'em both. Double the insurance, so, hopefully you've set a budget. No matter which way you look at it, cars are a losing investment. You'll always spend waay too much money on them.
