Why did you post this in the website development forum? I'll move it to the proper forum.

Dash Restoration
You'll have to contact them directly. Vancouver was the closest shipping site for me. As far as the texture, I'm sure they will try to match it as close as possible, but, it's not going to be identical.

Should outdated posts/threads be deleted
There's no way we are going to start deleting posts based on the date... Sorta ruins the idea of a database website, ya know? You can set up your preferences to show you only the last XX days if you don't like weeding through everything. Another good feature is the search mechanism. Very powerful tool. Now, about space, message posts really don't take up that much overhead. It's all the graphics and fun stuff that takes up the real hard-drive real estate.

Yea, there was some discussion about it on our site. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3931&rbypass=1

Congrats Mike!!
Hey guys, Thanks for the compliments! :cheeky: The shoutbox will be back as soon as I figure out how to make it work with the newest database structure. I had it online once, but, it kept appearing above the title bar. So, I'll give the standard answer... "Working on it!" :beard:

Can you help me establish a price?
Yep, standard. Yep, it looks out of place. But, it's supposed to be like that. The "Mr Z" writing isn't standard thou. That is a fan for your heater. Doesn't look bad at all. This is at least a $1,500 car if isn't rust free. Look for bubbles in the paint behind the wheel wells toward the bottom of the body area. I'd pay $1,500 or $2,000 for it.

'71 240z Fenders
I've got a pair of fenders from my resto project. Not sure why I replaced them because they have already been stripped, straightened, and primered. The holes that were in the side (from the door bumper strip) have also been filled. These fenders are straight. I probably have about $200-$300 of work into them (done by a professional, not me). I will sell both fenders for $100. Or, make me an offer. I'm in Albany, Oregon. Probably not good to ship these things, but, you never know. Shipping is your responsibility. Or, you can pick them up. I can bring the fenders to Portland in my truck (I work up there). They are currently hanging out in my garage (literally) and I need the room. Let me get some pictures and I'll post them soon.

Thanks! to all who replied to 'I Need Help'
Yep, and send some pictures of the car. Do you have a digital camera?

Apologies to 2manyzs
Why are you apologizing? Because of your username? Do you have 12 Z's? :tapemouth What sort of problems did you have logging in? Did you register as a new member or were you a member previously? Anyway, if you remember the problem you had, please post it in our Bugs forum. I'll try to see if I can fix it.

Nice fresh look!
Thanks for all the positive feedback guys!! It's refreshing to hear good words after working on it so long. I'm working on getting everything back to the way it was. This new 'look' was my idea of making it unique. The appearance thing is quite funny, most people freak out if something changes in appearance even if the content is exactly the same. I guess people just don't like change. Me? I love change. The engine behind this site has been greatly enhanced and it give us a lot more ability. You'll notice little things here and there that will prove this to you. But anyway, thanks again! Zee ya.

What Is This Banner????
Is the banner still there? I made a change in the domain so that it would forward everything to classicZcars.com. But, it didn't work the way I expected. Hate those banners!! Anyway, if I type http://www.240z.org now, I don't see the banner anymore. Let me know if it's the same for you.

tripple 50 mm Mikuni set
That looks like a pretty average size (not 50mm). I'd say 44 or 40mm. And, yes, $1,500 is quite steep. You guys in the UK, so, that would make them even more expensive in USD. I bought a brand new set of Mikuni 40mm's for $600 a few years ago. But, that was a hell of a deal.

What layout do you like best?
It has sort of a haze of green in it to me. Maybe I'm color blind. Who knows.. Not anymore. Wife left. :stupid: Oh wait, maybe now I have a life.

new site
Glad to have it back online!! Now I can sleep.

Chat's coming. You found a bug that I also found today (user online click).

What layout do you like best?
Yep, I'm working on getting the old theme back online. It should be here within the next few days. Oh yes, I noticed that. Let me change an option to show more threads.... pain eh?

What layout do you like best?
Welcome back to the site. Maintenance was sure fun. Now that it's over, please let us know which layout you liked better. The choices are this TAB-style green/white theme or the previous blue/red XP style theme. Either design will work fine for the site. Just let us know.

speed cameras
I think we need to start a group that is against speed cameras. A little black spraypaint and they have to send someone out to take care of it. Hell, a big enough pipe wrench and that sucker takes a fall. In Aus, just start a group that runs around taking the flash module that sits outside the car. Easy. All you have to do is trap some fat doughnut cop in the car. Or, hell.. wait for him to fall asleep.

speed cameras
Want to know something that will wizz you off even more? The guys sitting in the cars. They aren't cops. They are RENT-A-COPs. They are contract employees hired to set up the cameras and watch the money roll in. They probably have some kind of .WAV audio file that sounds like a cash register bell going off every time the camera catches somebody. CHA-CHING! CHA-CHING! Cameras are $80,000AUD. The unit sitting outside the car is a flash box. And, the camera itself sits inside the car. I'd like to find some way of making an electronic device that blows the circuits out of those cameras as you drive by. Or, hell.. you can even buy transparent paint that reflects the flash back at the car... (put on your license plate frame). I've got a friend in Vic who's a cop. But, he's a real cop.. not a traffic dog.

240Z racing a Z06 Vette
Is it me... or does the guy in the car (with the camera) kinda suck at driving? It must be that big arse heavy car. PS: Hopefully that video isn't someone from this site. :stupid: If so, sorry about the comment. Must be the car. hahah
