Welcome to the Internet 240z-Club's new forum area! We are very excited to bring this to you and expect to see good results in the next few years. These forums were created with the thought that information can be stored and used by everyone who owns an early 240z or 260z. It's also nice to have somewhere to go when your Z-Car is acting up and you don't know where to turn. Believe me, when working on Z-Cars, it's much nicer to obtain help on a global scale -- especially when thse vehicles get older and a rarity on the road. Since these forums are new, you might have a few questions about how they operate. After you check the FAQ and new user pages, please submit a question to this forum. Your question should be answered within a few hours. If your question pertains to a specific Z-Car related item, take a look through our forums and make your selection based on that particular genre. For instance: If you have a question about the carburetion system, post a message in the "Engine & Carburetion Forum".... etc etc. You get the idea. -- Moderator Mike

http://www.classicdatsun.com/turfside_regform.html The 10th Annual Classic Datsun Car Show Saturday, October 26th 9am to 4pm We are pleased to announce that this year’s show (formerly Surfside, now Turfside) will be held once again at the beautiful facility at Deer Park Museum & Winery located at 29013 Champagne Blvd in Escondido, CA. This the event does not have a major sponsor and therefore it will be necessary to charge an entry fee in addition to the State Park Fee of $5 per car, which must be paid as you enter the Park. The show entry fee will be $20 ($30 if after Oct. 11th) and covers an event T-shirt, dash plaque and the cost of the trophies. The show is open to vintage and classic Datsun/Nissan vehicles. Roadsters, 510s, Z cars, Patrols, trucks, wagons, . . .whatever! The car show will be People's Choice, based on what you like, the way it should be! Each person in attendance will have the opportunity to vote for his or her favorites. ONLY THOSE CARS REGISTERED FOR THE SHOW WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARK IN THE SHOW AREA. Every year we have 20+ cars that do not register but still park in the display area. Since this is not fair to the people who play by the rules, you will be asked to leave if you do not register when arriving at the show. Food and drinks can be purchased at the museum deli or, you can bring your own. If we get enough early interest, we will have a section set aside for a swap meet. A pre-paid fee of $20 will be charged if you want to sell in this section. Please return registration form with your check by Friday, Oct. 11th. Registrations received after that date or at the show will not receive T-shirts or dash plaques.  http://www.classicdatsun.com/turfside_regform.html Make check payable to:  Classic Datsun Motorsports Mail to:  Classic Datsun Show               8171 Kenova St.               San Diego, CA 92126-3121 Fax to CDM @: (208) 988-5507 For More Info Send Email to: Classic Datsun Show

This car was donated to me by someone in my local area. The car was a great refresh project, and we had a lot of fun doing the work. I replaced all of the injectors and fuel lines in the engine compartment. A new set of filters, oil, and spark plug wires go the engine running for a day. However, sad news the engine did not start the next day because it seized on the cold start. Unfortunately, due to my young age, I got frustrated with the car and parted it out. What did not sell was donated to the local salvage yard. As I look back at it now, I should have spent the money to get the engine rebuilt and restored the car. I wouldn't mind driving around in a 2+2 with my kiddo in the back seat.
