Hood Release Project
I've tried rebuilding several cables like this, mostly the choke. Anything I would do to it would eventually fail. TBH, I'm not sure anyone here has taken on this kind of project.

Security. Usernames are published in each post. But email addresses are not. So, by moving to an email login this eliminates 50% of the information that hackers can use to try to get in. (other 50% is the password)

Fuel tank reproductions
I ran across this site while browsing tonight. Anyone have experience with S30 World fuel tanks? They are not a sponsor and I have no idea if they are reputable or not. Just thought I'd share. https://s30.world/fuel-tanks

Yeah, good times! Things sure have changed in technology a lot since then. Now I'm trying to catch up.. we'll see how it goes with upgrades over the winter.

Checking in...It's been long time.
I'm wondering how many people we still have around from the old email list (majordomo) we started in 1996. I know there are a few still here. 😉

Checking in...It's been long time.
Hey Enigma! Great to see you post again. I'm still here of course. 😉 My 71 240Z is still with me but right now she's in storage. Raising a kiddo and living on a place without a big garage. That will all change in about 2 more years until the kiddo graduates high school. Trying to hold on as much as I can. There's still some of the original crew here. Just doing other things, I imagine. Good to hear from you! Mike

I Need a Door Striker Part
I'm seeing the same issue when I search for this part. Have you tried calling Ztherapy to see if they have any in their refurbished pile? I know they can re-zinc parts and Steve might have something in his stock.

Heading to Portugal
Hey all, just wondering if anyone from Portugal is here. I’m in the country for two weeks. Lisbon, Porto, then to Algarve.

Need a stock front valance
Yeah, I like the look of the BRE spoiler. I'll pick up the front valance and get the headlight buckets repainted too. Right now that whole set is a bit off color from the rest of the car... not really noticeable to most but it really bugs me.. ha! Luckily I found the paint codes in my files from the original work. I didn't have that when the airdam and buckets were painted.

Window tint
I would install everything untinted to avoid scratches during installation. After everything is installed, keep the door cards and window trims off the car. You can take it to a shop and they'll be able to install just fine. Once they are done you can drive it home and install the remaining parts without fear of scratching.

Kyusha House Electronic Fuel Pump Bracket
I finally got around to ordering the Nismo pump. Take a look at it installed on the Kyusha bracket. I'll be installing on the car next time we have a nice day here in Seattle.

Need a stock front valance
@zKars thanks for digging those out and taking photos, I really appreciate it. I've currently got three options: Old set from jfa - $ - Likely a lot of repair/fitting work required New/old set from zKars - $$ - Some repair/fitting work required New set from resurrectedclassics - $$$ - Least repairs but likely fitting required

Period Correct Tires
Gents, I got this from an email through our support system. It's about a period correct tire size for those of you sporting stock rims. I thought I would share here. No affiliation and he is not a sponsor on the site. Please check for accuracy. Mike

Need a stock front valance
Hi guys, I'm strongly considering going to a stock front valance. My car currently has an airdam installed. I like it but eventually this car will need to go back to its former glory. I may consider one of the BRE short airdams in the center though. Anyway, do you have any ideas where I can find a set in good condition? I've been away from the real world for awhile. Mike
