Any good places or auctions to find 240z or 280z?
I'd stay away from the first one (unless you want something completely modified like that). Best value is to get one more like the 2nd car and do some work to get it going again. Carl collected some great articles on his web page about what to look for in a Z during your purchase. http://zhome.com/ Look for the menu item on the left side "Buying a Z Car Tips" Keep an eye on Craigslist, this site (in our classifieds area) and Bring A Trailer as Zed mentioned above.

Biggest question is how much is your budget?

1970 Car Listed for Sale as 1971
Yeah the paint has me a little on edge.. I can't really tell if it's a baby blue or if it's just a poor set of photos of a white car (images are overexposed). Seems like a rush Maaco paint job and some of the parts aren't sitting on the car correctly. Gas tank is dented pretty bad and it describes the engine as an L28. The right buyer would likely want to do a rotisserie resto ... I still cringe when I see the door speakers. What a shame to cut big holes on those door panels.. ?

1970 Car Listed for Sale as 1971
Ha, And he goes right in with the kill..... Let’s please stay focused on the car and not the model year debate. If anything, this is going to be a highly desirable car, depending on the true condition of course. Mike

1970 Car Listed for Sale as 1971
Gents, I just ran across this baby while browsing the web for various things tonight. The car is a 1970 and the listing is showing as a 1971... The car has the rear vents under the hatch and 240z emblems on the side pillars so I know it's an early series car. I can't quite tell how good of shape she's in from the photos, but, it does look like some work needs to be done. Seller is asking $28,950 and appears to be located in California (from the plates). Listing agent is in NY. I've grabbed the photos and listing details here. Not sure if any of you are looking for an investment like this, but, it may be worth a look. No affiliation with the club. Anyone know who bought this 67 Roadster?
Hi all, I was just going through my photos and found a Roadster that got away from me quite a few years ago. I'm still kicking myself for not 'finding' the money to buy it. If I remember correctly, it was for sale in Washington State at a used sports car dealership. Just wondering if you recognize the car or possibly who picked it up. If you don't feel right posting their name, you can PM me. Thanks. Mike

A good place to start: https://www.classiczcars.com/files/category/1-wiring-diagrams/- Spring trip to Japan
I’ll write up something when I get back. Doing all of this by mobile phone right now and it’s not so easy to write a novel. Haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- Spring trip to Japan
There were a lot of places that require cash. But the larger businesses will take credit card. So, it’s pretty much a blend of 50/50, if I was to summarize. There’s no problem finding ATM machines around the cities. I always went to 7-11 as it’s a huge chain in Japan. The 7-11’s are also a lot nicer and have better food (compared to the US). By the way, make sure you try the egg salad sandwich and strawberry sandwich before you leave. ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - Power antenna wires connections
