Text is now black, I actually agree that it's much better as black. Somehow I didn't notice but this is a lot better. Made a few tonight. And, for you I increased the font to the 14pt size. Both of these ideas are actually very good ideas. I couldn't find the font size quickly but after a bit of code searching I found it. I'll think about a solution on the theme... maybe what we need is a few to pick from and then vote on the final design. I don't really want to support more than a single theme because changes can be a bitch... (this font thing is a good example) Anyway, good ideas, keep 'em coming. m

You can fix this by clearing your cache and cookies for this site. Once you do this it will expire any settings you have saved locally. You can then select the theme you want.

Thanks guys. While I cant go back to the old system, I appreciate the comments about how we can improve this new layout. The old site is still available for reference, at http://legacy.classiczcars.com. dp not post over at that site because it's no longer active. But please be sure to let me know in the comments how we can improve this one. Mike

I added a poll. Had to change, old software was way outdated and had major issues with continued development. New software is more secure and easier to maintain.

New Owner 1968 Fairlady 2000
SU carb's are essentially the same as the Z. We have a forum here on here, "SU Carb Central" where you can ask all of the questions. Here's a link to the forum: http://www.classiczcars.com/forum/71-su-carb-central/ The forum is maintained by Z Therapy out of Salem, OR. They are pro's at rebuilding and maintaining SU carbs. Here's a link to their site: http://www.ztherapy.com/ Welcome to the site! I'm a little jealous, I miss my roadster. m

Wikipedia Z-Car Page
I was just browsing the Wikipedia Page about Nissan Z-Cars. From what I can tell we may need to get in there and help the authors a bit more. Any takers? If you quote other websites, such as ours, please be sure to include them in the list of references at the bottom. Here's a link: Nissan Z-car - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Headlight Upgrade Harness's For Sale (again!)
Dave supplied me with a sample upgrade harness for my parking lights. Installation was a breeze and doesn't ruin the stock appearance of my car. I like the fact the harnesses are matching and I don't see a lot of spliced cables. I can tell there is a noticeable difference in the brightness of my lights with this harness. Dave went above and beyond with this project and it shows. PS: Motorsport Auto also gives discounts to club members so be sure to tell them you are a member of The Classic Zcar Club. If they ask for a membership number, you can see it in all of your posts (look to the left of my post here) or you can find it by clicking "My Profile" in the upper right of the website.

Posting your ride, please read!
Ha, yes these rules have changed quite a bit since 2001. 13 years of technology improvements and growth of the site, we can now allow much larger images and image types. I'll probably delete this thread. Thanks for bringing it to my attention Rick. PS: I just "unstuck" it so the thread should fall into the depths of time.

Barn Find
I realize this is a video showing a Mercedes, but, it got me thinking about my first Z. What do you think? Barn finds are a lot of work but very rewarding when you're done! <iframe src="//player.vimeo.com/video/93125699" width="500" height="281" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe> <p><a href="http://vimeo.com/93125699">Mercedes 190SL Barn Find</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/coolnvintage">Cool & Vintage</a> on <a href="https://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>

Ramp recommendation?
- S30 in 3d
Hey INST3D, let me know what you would like to do with ZIP files on this site. I can increase the size of allowed uploads for you. I'd rather let you do this than use external links that will eventually expire. Regarding the model, it's looking very good!! I like the last image you posted with the real scene in the background. The model almost looks real enough you can touch it. UPDATE: I just checked the max size of a .ZIP file and it was set to 1MB. I increased this to 10MB to help offset this problem. Let me know if you can now upload. Thanks.- Ramp recommendation?
I can't jack the front of my car because of my front spoiler. The problem is getting the jack far enough inside so I can use the long handle to pump the jack. I've resorted to using the stock body jack first and then sliding my jack far enough in so I can get to the center mount under the front cross member. If I had ramps it would be a heck of a lot easier. Only problem with ramps is that you cant remove the wheels. The race ramps seem pretty sweet.- Never Registered 280z ?
Anyone know who posted this over at DatsunClassifieds.com ?? Says this car has never been registered. Has a price tag of $100k but according to his description, is searching for good prices. Looks very clean. Never Licensed 1976 280 Z, 1976, $ 100,000.00- Nissan Factory / Commemorative 240z on ebay
Diseazed, please make sure the new owner knows about this site. Would love to see his story posted.- Nissan Factory / Commemorative 240z on ebay
Very nice car, I saved the source of this posting so it can be referenced later, even the images for reference.- What Are These Things Falling Out Of My Vent??
This is kinda fun, I like checking this thread every so often to see if the "mystery" O's have been solved. As far as my opinion, looks like a mouse or rat deposited these in the chamber for the winter. You can remove your fender to find out for sure.- Which car are these wheels from?
Gold? I wonder if they were spray painted. I wasn't able to look at them over the weekend but will try again when I'm near Seattle. - S30 in 3d
