Anyone running Redline Heavy shockproof in the differential
I know from 1st hand experience, plus I remember Zup replaced his Redline filled tranny with Delco and reported a very noticeable improvement in shifting - especially when cold. Redline is a good product, but in the case of the transmission, the AC Delco product is better.

Anyone running Redline Heavy shockproof in the differential
Use the Delco Friction Modified in the transmission - superior to the Redline for this purpose. Redline 75w90 for the rear diff.

[2017] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?
RCB, I can almost guarantee you the covers are from Interior Innovations - just sold thru an Ebay seller. They are very good quality, I have the leather ones, have been very pleased with them, and they are one of the best sellers I have ever dealt with.

DIY Gland Nut Socket - With PICS!
This company, near Denver might be worth checking ... appears to have 2" 8 point sockets in 3/4" or 1" drive. Standard length, deep, or extra deep. No idea of the cost on their web site, they have a 800 number or email. I am guessing it will be expensive.

Grant Signature Leather Steering Wheel
Thanks Cliff! It would add that sporty look your riding mower.

Grant Signature Leather Steering Wheel
I have kept this wheel for a while, had it on two of my turbo zx's. In very good condition overall condition. Horn hub ring on adapter has some wear. Grant signature 13" diameter leather steering wheel, includes adapter kit for 70 -83 Z & ZX, horn button. I think it is leather, have had it so long I can't remember, but the cost of the wheel without the kit was originally over &100 Adapter included is the less expensive standard one, not the billet adapter. $65 shipped in CONUS

Fuel Injection Issues
When did the motor last start & run? To start with ... Verify you have a charged battery, (voltage is important with FI), then verify spark, and if so, see if it will run on a shot starter fluid.

New seats and floor mats 240z advice
Very nice! I think you made the right decision on which seats to go with. Was it Interior Innovations that supplied the seat kits?

Engine rough running - at wits end
Out of interest, did you try the double nut technique to remove the studs? That is what worked for me when I did a lot of manifold work 3 or 4 years ago. I did have the advantage of the manifold off the car though. Wanted to replace the studs with ss bolts for a cleaner look with the block off plate. Best of luck on your low vacuum issue. Will be interesting to know what the ignition timing is currently at, when you get to that

Donations for RedBird-"Somethings wrong"
The Exedy kit is a very good oem replacement clutch. I have used them on two z cars without issue. Amazon is a great source for it. https://www.amazon.com/EXEDY-06009-OEM-Replacement-Clutch/dp/B001B5D7TE/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1487631287&sr=1-1&keywords=exedy+clutch+280z Her flywheel will definitely need to be resurfaced, if the labor price she was quoted holds, she might get away with about $400

selling a 240Z for estate - please help
I submitted grannyknot's car to BAT, it was accepted, and the extra exposure I am sure helped drive the final price on Ebay. BAT has quite a following now, the S30's get a lot of attention. Worked out perfect. I think the op's car is a high 20's car. Comes with lots of provenance.

selling a 240Z for estate - please help
Beautiful car! I agree with DatsunZguy about putting it on BAT. A number of 73 240's have done well on there of late. Does not look like it would take much to return it to all original if the new owner wanted to. Great pictures Steve, thanks for adding those. GLWS

260Z stock-ish
Very nice. They look great! No seat heaters? CO, if it was his car, would have put them in for sure!
