  1. Great, thanks! I saw that write-up but couldn't really tell definatively which way it went from the pictures, too much grease. Thanks again!
  2. Just in the middle of doing the front wheel bearings on my '72 and am a little stumped. Which side of the inner seal goes towards the spindle? The left (with groove facing engine) or the right (groove facing away from engine) in the picture? Thanks!

Wheels are Rota RB-Rs 17x9 -13 in front with 245/40/17 17x9.5 -19 in back wih 275/40/17 No rubbing with ZG flares but had to trim the front spoiler a little in the wheel wells (aside from the usual flare installation cutting) Oh, it's a 1972 240z

+1 on the Wesco WELR belts. Installed them in my '72 240 yesterday in about 90 minutes. Easy to do, just bolt in and you don't have to remove the seats. I also recommend getting the hardware kits as you will need the extra bolts. As others have mentioned, its a good idea to get a couple washers for the top mount point to space it away from the interior panel. A very nice improvement over stock.
  6. Can anyone share their experience with these? Has anyone bought a lowered/shaved version?
  7. I have asked over at Hybridz as well, got a couple good responses there: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/95970-any-modifications-needed-for-corbeau-seats-in-a-240z It is interesting to see that some people have trouble and some don't judging by these responses and others I have read. Seems like the later Z's have trouble with the hump on the tunnel but still most fab up their own mounts.

  9. Can anyone chime in? I am hoping to order seats ASAP. Any photos would be appreciated too. Thanks!
  10. Question for anyone who has installed Corbeau TRS or CR1 seats in their Z, did they bolt right in with the Corbeau mounts? I have read that lots of people have modified the mounting brackets to deal with headroom issues. How much do the Corbeau brackets raise the seating position? I am 6' tall and there seems to be lots of room with the stock seats. Also did anyone have issues with the seat hitting the door panel? Thanks!
  11. The balljoint holes are 14-15mm at the wide end and all the parts seem to fit together fine. It looks like the one knuckle may have gotten twisted in a crash or something, can't find much other evidence however, which I guess is a good thing. I am going to try to heat with an acetylene torch and bend back. Hopefully it won't be too brittle after but may be shooting you a PM geezer if things don't work out. Thanks guys
  12. Dammit, got this car recently and finding too many surprises like this. The more twisted one is the driver's side, do you think this is the one I should replace?
  13. Is one supposed to be more twisted than the other? On my '72 240z. Thanks Craig
