The Fan clutch if it is not an aftermarket piece is rebuildable Basically you split it clean it and replace the heavy weight oil in it

Getting a few extra inches of leg room
I am 6'5" and couldn't own a 350 or 370Z My 240Z gives me ample leg and head room in stock form.

Loose driver side mirror
I had the same thing and have big hands. I went on Amazon and bought one of those cheap foot long flexible extensions and managed to get my socket onto it and snugged it up. It was not easy but I managed to get it to work.

Too many options...need your opinions!
I was going to post a picture of my all silver 72 with silver wheels but you posted it! Picture #4 - I had the painter match the 901 silver. Love the all silver look but is your car - make it yours. This is what I started with 10 years ago. Also originally 901 silver. We always can use more members of the silver Z club. One more picture to make the choice harder. Good luck Casey

Quarter repair advice needed
It can be done Members 67 284 posts Map Location: Smithville Ontario Report post ID: #2 Posted March 27, 2011 Ebay came through with a rust free quarter. New fenders from Nissan. Close to final blocking and sanding. First pictures are of donor quarter panel from Washington State. We in Ontario are amazed at the condition of parts when salt is not a factor:stupid: The quarter is lined up and tacked into place and should be welded in place by now:) Quote Options

C’mon! Own up ...
I have very little hair for a reason. 5 teenage girls in the same house at the same time. Those days I don't miss.

C’mon! Own up ...
The back seat faced the back window and my daughters would fight to sit back there. There is 5 of them "daughters that is" and we would get some funny looks because of the stunts they pulled back there. Not a seat belt in sight😁 Good days I loved that car. Casey

New Z Owner
I also am 6"5" and I have loads of leg and head room. Make sure the seat mechanism is moving all the way back and as CanTechZ mentioned look for spacers that raise the seat. Great looking car by the way. Casey

Restoration of BringaTrailer 240z - HLS30-35883
Great attention to detail. I went down the same road as you about 6 or 7 years ago. I also let a professional do the final fine work. Happens to be my brother who has had his own shop for 30 years. He even made a roof that was dented look perfect The finished product will be great. Canada does not allow solvent based paint. We ordered the paint from the U.S. Good luck Casey
