  3. When I put my car together a number of years ago I was working in my brothers body shop. He had all sorts of clips and stuff I would go to a shop and see what they have. Casey
  4. We have it soft this winter so far compared to you. Stay safe.
  5. I would cut it off pack it and throw it on a Greyhound bus. I had a whole quarter sent from Wash State to Buffalo for a very reasonable price using their parcel service. Casey
  6. I bought a brand new 1973 240z when I was 19 years old and drove it year round for 4 years in Ontario. It would handle snow and ice great due to the weight distribution. The problem was when the snow was deeper than 6 inches it turned into a toboggan. I never wrecked it but had some off road adventures. I sold it as by then the salt was destroying it and I needed a back seat. The 70`s were a blast in Niagara also. (fade in Glory Years) Sorry back to your thread
  7. By the time you get good you will have start another car
  8. Acetylene torch, body hammer, one squinty eye, some cussing and a grin when he is happy with something sometimes a damp rag and then he is usually cussing He apprenticed with a craftsman 30 plus years ago. If you ask him it is eye and feel. When he is finishing a panel he rubs and looks. I did the rough work and paid him for his skill set.
  9. Mark My brother has his own body shop and has been at the trade for about 30 to 35 years. I watched him straiten and smooth both the hood and roof on my Z prepping for paint. The roof was dented due to being sat on some where in a previous existence and the hood he just got fussy. He used the heat and just worked the metal that way.Using expansion and contraction and a little impact here and there. That is something you will not see today but he spent about 10 hrs just working on the metal before he skimmed it and started blocking everything. With him it is pride in his craft plus he didn't want his big brother to pout The roof is really good but the hood is amazing how absolutely straight it turned out.
  10. I used a H4 conversion kit and Dave's harness and couldn't be happier. Went from needing my high beams on to see to modern car performance. I would have my high beams on and no one would notice. Casey
  11. I bought a 73 brand new in Ontario Canada. When I sold it after 4 years the rear quarters were gone. The salt just killed vehicles especially the early imports.
  12. Just an update after a few thousand miles. This wheel and tire combo handles and performs great. Went for a Indian Summer drive. I am going to miss summer.
  13. My son in law bought this 91 NSX last year. I can play with it a bit. Fantastic car. I still love being a member of the silver Z club. Zedyone Your car inspired me to restore mine. Casey
  14. It is newer but still ugly Paint brush striping
  15. That is what is on mine 225/50 15" Toyo Proxe 4's Casey
  16. The folks along the eastern seaboard will be watching snow melt for a while. Halifax calls for 2 to 4 centimeters of snow today. They are going to love summer when it finally arrives.
  17. Brought the 240 out of it's winter sleep. You can still see the last snow in the back yard. Changed the oil and filter, new fan belt and gave it a good bath. Had a good rain to wash the salt off the roads so I took it for a good ride. That was yesterday.Today it is snowing:(
  18. This an old scool frame rack. It gives you an idea of what is involved. Casey
  19. Great looking car. I am with Jim on this. I love the simple old school ignition. You just keep a few spares with you and you always get home. Casey
  20. There are a lot of options on E-Bay if you are so inclined.
  21. If you look at the owners names, they are in alphabetical order and do not match with the VIN's With an open spread sheet any one can fool with the data.
