What a difference a set of wheels makes
Hank I am putting miles on the snow blower and am tired of it - We have to get together at Tim,s in Grimsby when the weather changes and the incredible amount of salt on the roads is washed away. This global warming thing is killing me:stupid:

What a difference a set of wheels makes
Picked up some Toyo Proxes 4 225x50x15". They are a great fit. If we could only lose this winter weather we would be good:tapemouth Its cold and snowy. -21 degrees celsius outside and I am dreaming about summer. 8 or 9 below zero in American:D

Thoughts on sacrificial anodes for frame rails.
I work in the pipeline industry. We install cathodic protection and it like that on ships depends on current going to ground and degrading the anode in the ground away from the pipe. You need to maintain 3ft. separation or the pipeline is subject to corrosion at that point. It is the same principle as on a ship using water as a ground. So if you could isolate the car and cadweld a anode to it and bury it it would work pretty good. You wouldn't get far. I use an oil spray called Rust Check in all the susceptible spots. It is designed to creep into seams etc.

901 Silver Metallic - How to Match this Color?
When we painted this a few years ago we based the paint on the original code. Base coat clear coat will never look like the original paint that was used. The colour is looks deeper due to the clear coat and the fact that we dropped a little extra coarse metallic in the paint for depth. Still it is close and is a great colour on a 240z. Casey

Rewinds on Mine
Great looking wheels. What is your tire size. I just put these on and there is a set of worn out Toyo R1Rs, 225 X 45 X15 on them.

What a difference a set of wheels makes
No. Bought them from an Ontario Z Car Member. The wheels are perfect but the tires are worn out Toyo's with a low profile. They need to be replaced with a 15" tire that suit the car better. Casey

Interior Color Change
I have the silver and red combo on my 72 and it draws compliments everywhere I go. Since your seats are black that gives you the opportunity to go to either colour.

Cool pic
Went on a tour with OntarioZcar to a airport where a club restores WW2 era Harvard training aircraft.

What do y'all think of this color?
The colour looks great. When you add the extra coarse metalic you add depth and also the colour reacts differently to light conditions. We added a little coarse metalic to stock silver and there are times you can't tell but under different light conditions the paint pops. I like what you are doing. I am with Carl. Love the silver metalic. Casey

[2013] What did you do to/with your Z today?
A young couple used my car as a prop for their wedding pictures. Not related in anyway. Saw the 240 and loved the look. Smart kids. There's hope:classic:

240z rebuild / restoration right down to the shell
What he said:) It took an experienced body man a few hours of cussing and shimming to get it right. The new fenders are not identical so it takes some imagination to get all the gaps good. By the way that car looks great and we need to meet up somewhere again so I can see it. Casey

Shift knob
Patience does pay.Found an old pretty ugly shift knob on Ebay. Dremmel tool and a high tech battery powered lathe:D
