  2. Your butt is basicly sitting on the suspension so every sound is heard and felt.
  3. On mine the hoses at the connection at the evaporator tank were cracked. Casey
  4. Went on a tour of southern Ontario with fellow Ontario club members. Great day:cool:
  5. If you drive on the roads fast enough where it's going to make a difference you will be in trouble anyway:laugh: The spook just makes the car look great from the front and side. Casey
  6. 39 year old 14" aluminum slots Goodyear Eagles It will be tough to find a performance tire to put on these wheels Casey
  7. Looks great. The pictures have a familiar look to them:love: Casey
  8. I paid $250.00 plus $100.00 to put it on a Greyhound bus to Buffalo from Mr Classics in Washington State. Casey
  9. Look what came and parked beside me:laugh: Burlington Ontario on a Wed. evening. You need an engineering degree under the hood of the Rolls! As usual the only Datsun:cool: Casey
  10. This is how 850 Volvo door rubber fits. Same idea - no glue
  11. The difference is the angle the line exits the back of the wheel cylinder. The wheel cylinder is the same otherwise. If the line exits the wheel cylinder at a 90 degree angle it is the later style. If it exits on an angle it is the earlier style. My car is built June 72 and had the earlier style. I bought the later style and bent some new lines from the wheel cylinder to the Flex line. Casey
  12. I ordered online and parts from Rock Auto within 3 days Casey
  13. I recently put my car back together and the top part of the rubber just tucked under the door panel and chrome trim. No glue required.
  14. I was getting anxious after 3 months. I caught a break there was a 2 week period where there was no collision work and a lot got done. Also the shop owner is my brother and he hated to see a grown man cry on a sunny day Casey
  15. It is 901 silver but there is a little extra coarse metallic in it for depth. Outside it looks stock but does pop in the sun a little more.
  16. Final stages. Put it together. What a blast to drive it even in the rain:D
  17. The Volvo weatherstrip is excellent quality Gives an excellent seal but a little tight. It is a good looking install. The doors line up perfect. I will post some pictures Casey
  18. Got the glass installed. Had a Black Dragon weatherstrip kit I bought a while back. Window and hatch rubber was great. WE gave up on their door weatherstrip and got it from an 850 Volvo and that worked with a little tweaking. The colour on these pictures suck. I really want to get this thing out into the sun and out of the neon light and see the paint the way it is supposed to look
  19. It is now a silver Z A long time coming but worth the wait.
  20. I have the Toyota Conversion on my 72 with 14" slots Casey
  21. Colour is on the inside of hatch and door frames. Put the doors and hatch back on for final sanding and paint. In Ontario body shops are mandated to use water born paint. It is the law:stupid: My brother spent a lot of money to replace his paint system because of this. It was difficult to find 901 silver in the new water born setup. The furniture industry has not been forced to stop using solvent based paints. 901 silver is easily found using the old solvent based paints. Hence we called my Z a dining room table and ordered the old solvent based paint in base coat-clear coat automotive paint at Carquest. The water born paint does work alright(i did read about it on another thread) but we are real happy to use the old solvent based paint in this case. This a picture with doors fitted and hatch fitted also the making sure the front and rear spoiler fit properly before painting them separately. One more time block and sand(a lot of work) Casey
  22. Almost ready for the paint booth. Spent a lot of time making sure all the lines are right.
