**update** 3-31-10 had to go pump out some basements this morning because of how much friggen rain we have had up this way the last couple days:stupid:, so i didnt get as much done as i wouldve liked but pretty much done with the disassembly. got the heater core, a.c. unit, steering column, wiring harness, brake and clutch master cylinders, and the pedal assembly. then i got to work on tearing up some of the sound deadning which is never any fun. found out that were gonna pretty much put an entire new floor into this bad boy wich makes me feel 100000x better about the seam were the two cars were joined. hopefully i can get this thing mounted on the rotisserie some time this weekend and get started on the sandblasting next week as long as the weather is decent. heres some pics! heater core and a.c. unit out quater glass removed, had to drill out like 4 or 5 screws which was kind of a bitch couple pictures of the drivers side floor pan

i think were gonna go with a cage, and some custom rienforcement under neath the car to completly connect the roll cage. heres the cage that we are gonna be going with http://shop.broke****racing.com/Z_p_9660.html im pretty damn confident that with that cage with some more bracing, plus re doing all the welds and seams, i can make it plently strong enough.

the car has defiantly been back halved no doubt about it. its all really gonna depend on how good the rest of the weld job was on the rest of the car to see if we are gonna even stick with this shell. but even if i have to re-weld it ill make it stronger than it wouldve been stock. another quick update for today only had a couple hours but i got the rear bumper, tail lights and bezel out, also got the dash out and found out where the awful smell was coming from hahaha check out the size of this friggen bolt somebody screwed through the body to hold the bumper on!!!!:stupid: bumper and lights out antenna hole is getting shaved, heres a pic of what it looks like now, pretty rusty sound deadning on the trans tunnel was soaked as hell and covered with mold.

so when i first took a look at this car i noticed that there was some bondo cracking on the upper sail panel, didnt think to much of it til i dug out the bondo, and got the interior out. doesnt look like too much from the outside, but heres what it looks like from the inside drivers side passenger side now obviously this thing has had a different roof put on it, and im starting to wonder how much of it exactly is a different car. i think that the whole front end might have been replaced from that roof cut all the way up. heres some pictures of the obvious rust, im sure ill find more once i blast this thing drivers floor pan(front) drivers floor pan(rear) passenger floor pan quarter panel dog legs and one of the fender's. other ones about the same rust wise

started digging into the ol girl today trying to clear out some room to get the motor and trans out, so i started with the front end. only worked on it for a couple hours and had to fight with a bunch of old rusty bolts. but got the right front pretty much off.
