Not sure what your emission laws are in FL but you may want to check before removing anything. I would fail the "visual" inspection if I removed my EGR here in CA.
  2. I'm with JSM, if you have the room get the whole car. I wish I could find one here on the west coast. Specifically California. I haven't seen a Z for several years in salvage yards.
  3. Thanks for the info Dave.
  4. The exact reason I removed mine Jai. If I were to re-install the heavy bumpers it would be the earlier (75-76) bumpers.
  5. Thanks CO. I remember now. That's what has me concerned Dave. The leak is at the back of the pan. So.......
  6. Dave, where is this said pipe located exactly? Different subject but I guess you don't have any oil leaks from the engine seals or pan? My front main I just recently replaced. But I still have a pan leak from the looks of it otherwise I would take mine on longer trips. Really, I guess I shouldn't worry so much about the small leaks.

He hasn't answered this yet. If it were wired backwards he may be able to hear it gurgling in to the tank right?
  8. Yeah, not too sure why the PO changed from the 75-76 bumpers to the 77-78 ones. Maybe Jai could shed some light on this.
  9. Both of those are 77-78 bumpers. And IIRC Jai has a 76. 75-76 have a different set up.
  10. Exactly my point. They should have tested the match box. I'm sure the dizzy was fine. But, I do like the show.
  11. Looks great! How do you like the bullet style mirrors?
  12. What about the stock filter "box" and filter? This picture is from ebay
  13. I wondered why they didn't just switch out the match box instead of the whole dizzy. Wouldn't that have been easier?
  14. Yep, 2x6's for sure Cliff. Ah CO, you took all the fun out of it. Was going to have a Popsicle eating frenzy. Ate a few last week while I was in the Southern Caribbean . It was really warm there.
  15. There's also a weight difference between the tribute car and say mine for example but...........totally like what you reminded me of Mark. That cribbing has been around for a long time and will continue to be. I'm going to make me some to make pulling the trany and oil pan easier.
  16. That's my question: How did he get the car that high to begin with?
  17. Western Cyclone, that's right. I remember having a set of those on my 75 I owned for a few years. Hows the interior? Is it running?
  18. It seems to be in great shape. Is it low miles?

Thats what I used. Could be just a little brighter IMO.
  20. Isn't that the truth. I'm going to guess N42 for the block....oil pressure sensor looks to have a single wire running to it.
  21. Oh yeah, forgot about the Maxima head.
  22. Look at the block and head numbers and post them here when you have them. I just saw your other thread "trying to set timing" . Curious on what you find out for an engine combo. Hope you find out before I leave out on my cruise to the Caribbean otherwise I'll have to wait til I get back stateside to read what you found out.
  23. It is part of the ZX EFI. What engine do you have, F54? Or just a different head? Your temp sensor is located in the thermostat housing. Thats why you can't find a plug to the one in question. I wouldn't worry about it, just leave it in there.

I did just that CO and I like it. Would like to do something with the dome light.
