Looking for a radiator
I appreciate your time Terrapin Z. I need to decide what I want to do.

Looking for a radiator
I can't seem to make up my mind whether I want an OE or aluminum one. How much do you want for it? Are you the guy that scored on a bunch of parts from a recent craigslist add? If so, glad to see it went to a club member.

[SOLD] 280ZX-Distributor- New (( SOLD ))
Good point Zed Head. Hmm... this is strange. Half of my post is gone. I went on to explain how I have changed my distributor to a ZX one with great results. I wonder what the heck happened to it.

Increased MPG w/ Valvoline VR4
This is more likely the biggest culprit of mpg lose. Can't imagine the oil causing an increase in mpg but, maybe?

Triple M´s?
Man those look great! Sure wish CA would let me install those on my 77 280.

Bringing a 1977 Z back life
How good of a spark. Should be a nice blueish strong looking spark. To me, when I watch this last video, your timing is way off. What have you done to check it? You could bring number 1 piston up on compression stroke and see if the distributor rotor is pointing to number 1 plug wire. IIRC.

Bringing a 1977 Z back life
That gets its vacuum source from the Thermal vacuum valve. Look under your AAR, there should be a "block" with 2 coolant lines running to it, if the PO didn't remove it. The AAR sits on top of that. At the end of the said block (cant remember its correct name) there is the thermal vacuum valve with 2 vacuum ports. One goes to that check valve you mentioned. That is not going to affect starting the vehicle. Its something you can address at a later date. Just noticed in post 47 that check valve is connected but now it is not.

I contacted him to see if he would consider shipping me a couple things but someone has already contacted him and is on their way to get the stuff. Oh well. I did toss my number in there for him to give to the buyer

Looking for a radiator
For a 77 280z. Would like a 3 row OE one. From what I can see the 77 and 78 were the same. Have an aluminum one now and it has developed a couple more leaks after having a couple fixed! It's only 2 years old! Thanks

Should I be concerned?
Unless you get the powerforce-plus which is rated at 10,000 rpm.

Should I be concerned?
There was an issue with fit at one point and unfortunately you got one of them. It has been addressed and corrected since then. I would send it back to the manufacturer for a replacement. The fit on mine was good. Just had to go with a smaller belt like mentioned above. I am happy with the end result.

Should I be concerned?
I know a couple other guys running these, one for a few years, and they recommended this balancer to me. Seems a little smoother than my stock one. Hmmm.... So I don't foresee any problems. If I do I'll address it then.

Should I be concerned?
Yes Lumens, you will. So the stock width of the belt is 1/2 in. I bought a 3/8 in x 34-3/4 in long belt. IIRC the length is shorter by 1.5 inches also. It fits perfect. Took it on a test drive and all is good.

Should I be concerned?
I just installed a new Powerforce harmonic balancer because I cracked my OE one. So after putting the car back together and installed the fan belt I noticed the belt doesn't seat completely in the balancer belt groove The belt is too wide. It seats "half way" in the groove. Should I be concerned? And if I replace the belt with a skinnier one will there be a problem with the fan and alternator pulley's?

quarter glass to door weatherstrip
This is what I'm looking for. Both left and right side. Very good used or new condition.

Tackling 2 leaks, rad and front main
Just finished putting her all back together. All looks good. No more leaky radiator or front main seal. I'll probably check more times than I'll need to but I guess you can't be too careful. I still have 2 more leaks to tend to. Looks like rear main is leaking, maybe. Also looks like the pan gasket is leaking after all. You would think I was loosing a lot of oil with these leaks but I never have to top it off. Thanks to everyone that helped me with this last repair.

Tackling 2 leaks, rad and front main
**UPDATE** Finally got everything in. Installed the balancer. Wanted that out of the way. The woodruff key fit snug, not loose or too tight. So I'm certain of no keyway damage. Now I just need to put the rest of her together.
