I got first dibs if you are going to throw it away . Seriously, hope you get her fixed and fixed right. You'll probably really like the set up once she's running right.

Still would like to know what the problem was/is. There are several posts here regarding the "pot" install. People seem to like it. I have always fixed what was wrong not needing the "pot" fix. Did the tech give you any idea what could be wrong? Why he decided on the pot.
  4. Yeah a friend of mine needs an engine for his 76. His is not a CA car so it would be fine.

Definitely will be missed, can't believe he is gone. My condolences to his family.
  6. Wish I lived closer. Good price.
  7. Still has to go through Appropriations Committee but none the less its a step in the right direction. I'm all for the clean air act but lets go after the "polluters". Our old cars don't even put out the amount of emissions the state of CA claims they do. They use our cars as an escape goat, so to speak.

I can't wait to see how this install goes. My original seats are like sitting on picnic benches! At this point anything would be an improvement for me. But I like the look of the 350 seats.

Ok thanks Jarvo2. Wow! $300 is an excellent price. Can't wait to see the finished product. Im in that stage of "which way do I go" with my seats.

Why didn't you use the sliders?

Or 210k. Not impossible. Download the FSM and FI bible. It will help you get started on your diagnosis. Then you can post what you have tested and the results giving everyone a starting point.

He probably doesn't have a thing considering the thread is 12 years old.
  18. ^^^I passed over this thread a few times thinking the same, door skins, as in exterior metal.

Great work! Takes a lot of patience. That's one reason I haven't started on mine.

    Good looking Z!
  23. If its soft and not brittle, or crumbling then it should be fine. Maybe post some more pics. What I see in your pic isn't that bad. Just my opinion.
  24. rcb280z replied to wheee!'s post in a topic in Build Threads
Ah hell, maybe I should just start over and rebuild from the ground up. Wheee!, keep up the good work. Can't wait to see the new door panels. I can use a set for my 77.

Plus I need to re-install the original grill bringing the marker lights back up to the stock location.
