Thanks for the welcomes guys! Well, what im looking for in a Z is basically a daily driver. I like the car for what it is aesthetically, so all I would likely do that way is put a nice set of wheels on it. Some more modern styled, 16 or 17 inchers. Paint will probably be white in color, with a nice interior. Done in leather, or similar material . I love the sound of the straight six, so a nice exhaust will be in order. Later down the road, I would like to get another to just do crazy stuff to. Recreate one of the SCCA racers, like the red and white BRE car! Throw in a 350 or something different. Thanks for the tips you guys have given me. I have several prospect cars in my area that I have found online, and now I have an idea what to look for. There are several ranging from 500 to 5000, in varying condition. Thanks again for the welcomes!

Im a new member here, and I have loved the Z cars since I got my first Z car Hot Wheels as a kid! There was something about the lines of this car, and as a kid, I hadnt seen anything like it. I owned a 77 280 back when I was a teen, though I never got to drive it. I worked at a wrecking yard, and we had a white 2+2 that was begging to get back on the road. I bought it for the paltry sum of $200, with a great engine. Cold compression was a straight across 180 psi, but was a little pushed over in the front end. I didnt know anything about cars at the time, so it sat for a year or two. Eventually, neighbors complained, and I had to get rid of her... I knew a girl who also had a 77, and she needed a few parts from it, so I sold her the whole car for 50 bucks:disappoin. I dont know whatever happened to the car, and it always made me kick myself ever since that day. Anyway, I hope to gain some new information about the Z car, such as things to look out for specific to this car, and hopefully pick up a new project!
