its ok mate, just realised you are on the other side of australia! hehe I was interested in the BRE spoiler but dont think it would be economically feasible to ship it over here- ends up costing more than new! anyhow, good luck with the sale.

They look like SSR reverse mesh (or forward mesh etc.. they have about 3 different types). You can get them from your local SSR dealers brand new... They are also very common 2nd hand, although Z offsets and sizes are quite rare.

If anyone in Oz stays up for late night rage, they might have caught the latest clip from Audiobully which features a dark blue Z (either a 240 or 260?) in the very beginning. There is a big front on shot of it's foglamps as the band piles out to play some junkyard golf.

Our car will be primarily a track car..so NVH and comfort wasnt very high on the list of priorities. there are probably some other benefits for solid engine/tranny mounting such as: *increased acceleration response (less weight shift) *slight increase in torsional rigidity of front end?*(just a guess here ) I have tried out solid mounts on other more modern cars (vw golf vr6) and the difference on that car in particular was very noticeable. There was a slight increase in vibration however definitely not unbearable. The whole car definitely felt a lot more "solid" and seemed to react better to inputs. Just out of interest, i believe the new 350z uses a solid type transmission mount. They justify the increased gearstick wobble by saying it increases transmission feel. (shrug)

my Z has recently had its rubber transmission mount exchanged for a solid type mount.(engine mounts solid as well) Havent driven around in it yet, but id expect there to be more transmission "feel" offset by increased gearstick wobble/vibration.
  11. Any Z racecar will do, but this one takes my fancy the most: Spirit Garage 240z. L24 bored out to 2.8 litres with triple solex 50's- amongst other things.
  12. cheers, that would make sense. looks like im stuck with a 3.54 for a while! I'll check it out manually later to see for sure.
  13. Anyone from australia know what sort of diff ratio were behind the oz delievered 240z automatics?
