The great TEXAS Z Car (and foreign Car) rally - 2011
Since this is Texas related..... Would anyone have set of these wheels they would either a) like to sell or b)trade for some 15" swastika wheels? The swastikas are in the process of being refurbished, I have two mostly done and they look pretty good. Sorry for the hijack...

Anyone see a difference in these Master Cylinders?
I want to be ready for the Toyota 4x4 brake upgrade and have heard that as long as it mounts to the booster and is 15/16" the reservoir size does not matter all that much.

Tore my strut mount: Need Opinions
How Arne? Does the control arm droop low enough to get it out?

Tore my strut mount: Need Opinions
I was in the midst of sanding down my inner outer energy suspension control arm bushing to get my spindle to fit between the bushings that energy suspension refuses to revise and in doing so I was moving my spindle towards the lip on the quarter panel and my strut mount tore some. I felt it let go and upon backing off the 3 nuts I inspected it and it tore around the 17mm strut nut, about 50% of the rubber. The rubber is in great shape and I continued on with reinstalling my spindle pin successfully. Should I stop now take it back apart and fix it? Leave it because it won't give me problems? I still had problems getting the spindle pin back in and the thought of doing this over angers me. Please advise.

Removing tie rod
How do you remove the tie rod from the steering rack? Or outer tie rod from the inner. Note this is with the tie attached to a floppy **** ball joint that is not attached to the spindle.

Z Race Products: No Response
I ordered some caliper brackets off these guys and paid via the internet. I asked first if they will work on my car and then sent another email asking if they had shipped yet, and if not when they will. I have not heard anything back. Are these guys flakes? Anyone ever ordered something from them? I realize side business' are just that and response times can be slow. http://store.zraceproducts.com/brakes.php

Peening stub axle nuts
I have my rear spindles over at Andrew Streckfuss "ZCurves" brother's AAMCO putting in the new wheel bearings and grease seals. What is this crap about peening the nut that goes on the stub axle? What is peening? Shot peening is what they do to connecting rods to increase strength. Andrew if you are reading this I had to rob one stub axle nut off the parts car. I need the other one but your brother air impact won't get it off. Sounds like it is one of those things that you don't really need to do to your car, something no shop would ever do on a customer's car.

Installed KYB 361002 and eibach on front....HELP
I didn't have to use a spring compressor on the rear, but it was a little tight. The front on the other hand there was no struggle and even with the insulator and strut spring cap on and the 17mm tight the spring is completely loose.

Installed KYB 361002 and eibach on front....HELP
Everyone said I would need the strut compressor for the front springs, didn't need it, not even close. I put in the strut cartridge, tightened down the gland nut. Installed boot and new bump stop. Put on strut on the strut hat or cap, whatever it is called. Installed whatever that bearing does inside the strut mount, put strut mount on strut cap. Installed 17mm strut nut and tightened down. Eibach spring is still loose with no pressure from strut hat on top of eibach. I have to push down on strut mount for cap to make contact with spring. I have the ######.1 part number on the front too. Prior posts said others needed the strut compressor for the front, hell I can't even get the strut hat to compress the spring at all. Normal? Something installed wrong?
