It wont accelerate because the car feels like its "choking" so i have to accelerate in steps cuz it will choke so its gas gas choke gas gas choke is that clearer? I dont know how else to explain it hope i was clearer

I purchased a 1976 Datsun 280z in mid summer that had been sitting for 3 years. I flushed out all the old gas, flushed out the radiator, bought a new battery, put new gas, put injectors from my previous running 1978 280z [RIP :tapemouth] and she finally had fired up. So i try taking her for a spin and she starts choking on me. I look at all the tubing and notice some are a little old so I have them replaced. I fired her up and still would choke. After about a week I have it towed to Mike's Z Shop in Whittier, Ca. They work on it for 2 weeks and get it to run better but it STILL chokes. They put new spark plugs and a different airflow meter. I just got home from Whittier with it going no more than 50 on the freeway because of the choking PLEASE HELP thank you in advance

hey ZedHead i had more of my friends look at it and they said it was the starter...we hit the starter with a hard piece of metal and it started? so they said to get my starter rebuilt and it should be that thanks for your input though when i get my starter rebuilt and if the problem continues i will take your advice into consideration sorry it was a slow saturday night you should have

hey guys today i tried firing it up and it wouldnt start again...i got the same buzzing sound i thought it would best to continue here than to start up another post....i repeated the same thing you said to do and clean the TPS but it still wouldnt work...any suggestions? thank you in advance!

Pomorza-i didnt washed the engine but the water may have gone through the vents...it doesnt turn over it jus wont statr and makes a funny noise Zcurves- where is the Throttle Position Sensor? sorry I love my z to death its just im barely learning about it...

On Friday afternoon i washed my car and that night i got ready to go out and it wouldn't start. The light "Floor Temperature" lights up and it makes a buzzing kinda sound help please?
