Electrical - Engine Bay maintenance Light.
Was doing some work on my car last night - Changed rear brakes + installed a new Steering Wheel. All was fine but now: My little light in the engine bay is stuck on! Yes it worked before and I could click it on and off. But now its just stuck on? Only way for me to turn it off is to unscrew the light. Any ideas? All comments are welcome.

Chrome bumpers.
Ah...Good to know :stupid:

Chrome bumpers.
He did have a front bumper there in 1 piece. Except it wasn't Chromed or fixed. It was dinged up a bit. Damn! Oh also I think he was asking $40 a piece for the Chrome corners.

Chrome bumpers.
Just met with the guy. He was legit - warehouse full of shiny metal :classic: He had 3 piece bumpers. He had the 4 corners but didn't have the center parts. Overall Chrome looked great. Everything was smooth and pretty much flawless. Insides were clean too. Sadly he didn't have the full 1 piece bumpers I was looking for.

Chrome bumpers.
Found this local Craigslist ad -> http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/pts/1764083170.html The guy quoted me about $250 for a set of Chromed 240Z bumpers. I've never seen Chrome bumpers for sale so I don't know what price to compare it to. Is $250~ a reasonable price? I'm interested in replacing my 280Z bumpers.

Squeeling! Whyyyyyyyy~
Thanks for all the comments. I'll try looking into the fan belt and tell you guys how it goes later.

Squeeling! Whyyyyyyyy~
Took a picture of my belts...or lack of belts. I think its a loose belt - It squeals when I press the gas but has nothing to do with clutch movement. Main concern for me is that I seem to lose power.

Squeeling! Whyyyyyyyy~
Clutch in/ out didn't make a difference I think. I think pressing the gas did though. I need to look into it more. My other friend guessed it was one of the belts squealing.

Squeeling! Whyyyyyyyy~
Car: 1978 Datsun 280Z fully stock. Great condition. Problem: When I first start the car and engage my clutch it makes a very high pitch squealing sound. It only lasts for like my first few gear changes (first 5-15 seconds - maybe not even that.) After that it's fine. My friends were guessing it was my e-brake. But I know its down? I know my Parking Brake IS down. But are E-brakes known know to stick? The car is drivable but when I hear the sound I die a little on the inside because I know my car is hurting... Help! All comments welcome.

I bought it from someone in Coupeville.

Car Security
As I am under a budget for now. I might just stick to unhooking the starter motor or something every time.

What AIR DAM is this?
Is this also a Kaminari Air Dam? The owner in this page listed it as a Kaminari but it just doesn't look the same. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3391523

Car Security
Sorry to hear what you guys think off the bat so I'll try to explain myself. I just bought a 280Z from WA state. Its was in amazing condition and 98% stock and for the right price. Picking it up this Thursday because I'm getting it imported. Bought it to be a daily driver to go from my garage to a underground parking lot. I'm asking about Security first because the part of Vancouver I work isn't really the most safe. Also Z's are rare in Vancouver - I've only ever seen 2 in my life. So naturally I fear for my car. I guess I should have just asked "Is this security measure reasonable for my car even though its completely stock?"

Car Security
We all have our different set ups. Now I'm was wondering what everyone uses for security and what does everyone think is reasonable for some of vehicles out there? For myself I'm more worried about my car being stolen then broken into so I'm looking at a NRG Quick Release for a steering wheel and at this point I feel that's enough.
