Anyone know where I can purchase Hooker Headers for Z?
My next thing to do on my list it the exhaust. I dont like the 6-2 MSA style header. I did see on ebay a hooker header part number 8116-8115. However, I cannot find a retailer for hooker headers that offer the datsun headers. These header are duals but they have flanges on them. Anyone know who sells them? T

Urethane Control Arm Bushings Install
I have all new parts from MSA These are the rear control arms. It was late when I finished, so I wasnt thinking too clearly this morning. I guess I need to lightly sand my new pins so that they will go into the inner sleeve of the bushing. I was also thinking last night that the width of the collar on the new bushing looked bigger (longer) than the original pin. Is is possible that once I have the new bushings installed that the strut tower will not fit due to the increased size of the bushings? I might have to sand them down if they dont fit. Is this correct, or am I just being paranoid before I assembly it? Thanks! Go Sooners!

Urethane Control Arm Bushings Install
I have finally removed the old control arm bushings! Everyone was right about this job, it is no fun. It took me about an hour per bushing to remove them. The propane torch sure came in handy. My question now is how do I properly install the urethane bushings and collar? You can't really press the urethane in without ruining it. Do you just grease it up and use a rubber mallet and gently tap them into place? Then, do I install the collar in the bushings before the pin is installed, or do I install the pin and then drive the collar onto the pin? The collar doesnt fit on the pin as nicely as I had hoped, by that I mean it doesn't just slide on smoothly. It is one tight fit. But then again, I didn't expect this to be fun and easy. Although it was better than staying home for my wifes Pampered Chief party! Any help regarding the install is much appreciated! Travis

Dash Restoration
The link is not funtional anymore for the Dash restoration place in Australia. Can some provide it again? I read the post and have a question, can't I just ship it to Australia? Why does it have to go to Vancover? Travis

Removal of #@$%ing rear pins & bushings.
After reading all these post, and then consulting my Chiltons manual that says "remove bolts and then remove pin" I figured what the hell,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Now what the heck have I done, the spindle pin surely ruined. I have it half way out. I need a bigger hammer. I just hope the outer race is less forgiving that the damn spindle.

200 SX Turbo R200 Rear end and Zx caliper conversion.
Your more helpful than the Chiltons manual. Do you know if anyone makes or sells an adapter for the E-brake for the ZX Brake conversion, and the brake lines?

200 SX Turbo R200 Rear end and Zx caliper conversion.
I posted a comment regarding the rear end noise on my Z last week. After considering the feedback, I have decided to replace all the bearing, bushings, rear insulator, ect. One of the replies from a very knowledgable Z owner suggested to me that the 200SX Turbo came with a R200, 4.11 gears. Has anyone installed one of these in their car? Is it a direct bolt on? I have not yet went to my local Z salvage yard to check it out. My other question regards the Disc brake conversion. I have realized that I am not going to be able to do the 240SX conversion due to my wheel size. Has anyone done the ZX swap, and if so were larger rims, other than the 14x7 offset work with these. I believe the ZX rotor are smaller than the 84-85 300Z rotors used with the 240Sx calipers. Travis

14x7 Rims with 240sx Disc Conversion, Will they work?
Moder Motorsports was kind enough to email and he told me that he had heard of some people having problems with the 240SX conversion fitting on stock rims. Travis:sleepy:

14x7 Rims with 240sx Disc Conversion, Will they work?
Has anyone done the rear disc conversion on their Z using the factory sized rims? I have american racing rims 14x7. I have heard that sometimes they rub on the rim.

R200 R180 Rear End Slack, How much seems normal
Is the 4.11 from the 200sx a direct bolt up to the Z or do you have to modify it? I recall that the 200sx came with either a Turbo or v6. Does it matter which one it came from?
