I purchased my last Z off of Craigslist. The three before that I bought off Ebay. Go look at the car. It looks like a nice driver. You can research the value on line from a variety of resources. Around here a 240z in the condition it appears to be in would go for between $8K to $10K. I have no fear of buying a car from a on line site but before the cash trades hands I WILL look it over in person and I will already know the most common defects to look for. I sold my 1990 300zx NA 8 weeks ago to pay off my house. I was immediately sick that I let it go. It was perfect inside and out and faster than lightning . I started looking for another Z and came across this one. http://nashville.craigslist.org/cto/1834840615.html I watched it drop from $2100.00 to $1000.00 over a couple of weeks. When it hit $1000.00 even though it's a 2+2 and not a coupe I couldn't stand it any longer and I bought it. It may take me a year or two but it will be perfect too. It turns out the interior is in very good shape. It only has minor rust on the outside and it runs and shifts good .
