OK I am looking for some decent used carb horns. This big monster air cleaner has to go. Pulled valve cover to replace leaking gasket and engine was full of nasty condensation goop. Wiped everything down, clean inside the valve cover, replacing fuel pump, replaced plugs(looks like they weren't even firing, shocked car was running) Going to drive it another 20 miles and change oil again. water pump replaced, electric fan ready to be put on. I had changed the oil and filter before it was ever drove. I have to see what mount is clunking when I shift, get a better coil like a Blaster 2. Ready want to use carb horns and an air cleaner per carb. If anyone has some for sale let me know. Rob

I have decided not to molest it. I will find me a Gremlin to V8. Car is just to original to mess with. I found an L24 on Craigslist that someone pulled for a v8 conversion that was running fine when pulled for dirt cheap.

Ok on my 72 the headlight switch on steering column is bad and parts store doesnt have it. Is it an item I can get at Nissan or is it a find a used one item?

If anyone has a rear spoiler for this car (and not one of those retarded wings! a rear spoiler) I will happily buy it, or a link to where I can buy one.

I have never owned a Datsun in my life! I have wanted a 240Z since I was 15 years old, now at 45 I have one! The car was owned by one of my buddies fathers before he passed away. The car was bought as a wholesale car by him at Hoyte Dodge where I used to work back in 2004. The car meant ALOT to Brett and for him to call me and only me to purchase the car means alot. I replaced the water pump, plugs, oil and filter, and did a general clean up. Car need valve cover gasket replaced, a mount on the rear end that clunks when you change gears to swift, headlight switch, and brakes worked on. I have driven it around here and she rides great. I will be installing my 1200 watt amp, 12" sub, new head unit, and just detailing the hell out of her today. Car runs and drives great, no smoke, pings, knocks, ect.
