If this was really worth $35K, for whatever reason, he would explain it in the ad, not pull the old salesman trick of enticing people..."Oohh, this one has something special...But I'm not telling."

Hey guys, Was this a special model or year with the underdoor plates? I really like this bronze one, but I don't understand when he says that it has a different body style than the 240z and 260z. I thought the 240z and 280z had the same body shell? Mike

And I've got John Voigt's LeBaron.
  5. San Diego guy wants an East Coast rust bucket? Wanna trade cities? Looks like it's now posted in the classifieds.
  6. I don't know how large this bushing is, but for my VW starter bushing I used a tap. Thread it into the bushing for a couple threads then pull on the tap. Mike
  7. Nice deal. Yeah, I was using craiglook.com (which is now claz.org) until a few days ago. Now it doesn't show me any of these Z's that are clearly in the craigslist database. Mike
  8. Rich, Did Maaco bake the car after painting?
  9. $125K asking price and I'm the one who needs to get real. Thanks for making me laugh. You can buy a Vette for much less. And a Vette has modern EVERYTHING. Good luck, though.
  10. Yep, he won't get 1/3 that price.
  11. So did you look at the car?

I think one of the lessons of life is to not regret the things you've done...just use them as learning experiences. Even if you did pay too much - and it looks like you didn't - so?...Don't let it get in the way of enjoying a really cool car.
  13. Are you in Pittsburgh? I'm in Pittsburgh. I considered it, but was put off by the fiberglass panels. Mike
  14. Motive makes a nice pressure bleeder for European cars, they might have an adaptor for the Z's fluid reservoir. It takes all the pain out of bleeding brakes. Mike
