We call them under riders down here not over riders. :classic: Confusious say -- If they were on upside down, down under, would that not make them right way up. ROFL

Sorry Mate Only just noticed your email. Yeah it is the metallic green with the tan interior. The clear enamel starting to flake off and that means a respray apparently.

What rust - looks pretty good. Out of curiosity, can you tell us how much you paid for this? If you get rid of the L28, you might be able to make up some cash by selling it off. The L28 is becoming pretty popular. Am I telling you how to suck eggs??? Sorry

Spanners?
The only close things between imperial and metric is the 7/8 inch if my memory serves me right. Works out to be 24.1mm Best off buying a set of metrics. Second choice would be the Adjustable Spanner that Bambi suggested and a strong pair of vice grips - that will fix the bugger:love:

Manifold balance tube
Hi Zedrally Strut Bars come from Z Car Shop in Brisbane. The yellow was chosen over another colour called rust!!!:sleepy: After a fire in the engine bay, everything started to turn a lighter shade of red. It was quick thinking to reach for the spray can as I was (and still am) too broke for chrome. It started to work out well with a green car and yellow everything else, it is becoming an Aussie icon:cheeky: Just got to maintain the colour but one of the great things is it shows up any oil quick smart. Gives me plenty of incentive to keep the oil on the inside of the engine:D

dash restoration
Nice when they use a Z dash as their banner advertisement on their website. They have an export enquiry form that might be worth responding to. If you are serious and wantto find out more, i can go there after work and make some enquiries for you about the costs. Take my Z around as it had a restoration but they only did a capping. biker PS The little Aussie battler (dollar) is rising every day. Now buying 0.65US

Anyone ID this rim style?
This is a picture of the Z Car shop owner's car here in Brisbane (Alan Stean). Looks like a picture from the Race to the Sky rally in New Zealand. The car is driven by Ross Dunkerton. I think they call these turbo wheels. Maybe you could email Alan at the Z Car workshop and ask him directly. biker

Who are the worst drivers?
Thanks for putting up the Volvo drivers voting card as requested - received my vote promptly.:cheeky: Who was the boofhead who voted screwdriver??? That was just there to test your knowledge on the differing cars on the road - you failed:D BTW, when I moved to Queensland, I noticed a strange occurence of people having cups of coffee whilst driving to work, not that it gets cold here. After a litttle while of studying this, I started to notice that they were also having breakfast as well. I think the next move is that they will start to cook their bacon and eggs on the front passenger seat whilst driving!!!:stupid: Can't people get organised here or just blooody wait until they get to work!!! Now they are dangerous driving!!:stupid: PS - Got clobbered last year in my car by a Falcodore owner. Only had my new family car 20 minutes and the prick did $15K damage (not a Zed). Turned out that he and a mate were having a race along the freeway in peak hour traffic and he looked across to see if he was in front going over a crest of a hill. Only pleasure I took away from the experience was the fact that his car was a cumpled mess also. The prick made me give up the bikes as it is getting too dangerous out there. PPS - Saw a taxi driver yesterday on the way to work wearing -----a Hat!!!!:stupid: biker
