Hello, I have been to the wreaking yard and picked up a high brake light from a 1995 Jetta. It's the same angle as the back window. You have to make sure you get the metal clips that attach to the window. It gives a high brake light that gets you seen. I am going to be installing mine on very soon. Its not LED. Thought I'd share. Sean, Awesome article & photos. How did the speaker box fit on the pass side of the rear, under the plastic panel? Pulling my dash this winter and will install my tweeters in the dash. Great idea Keep on Z'in Steve in Oregon
  4. I also am going to put dynamat on my 280Z. I want to put it up as far as I can on the firewall. I read that it helps on noise reduction. Would putting strips on the inside of the doors, rear hatch and the rear quarter panels also reduce noise. Thanks for the feedback

I was given a free 1976 280Z. I was told that it was a S. Cal car w/5sp. Someone was messing with the electricial system, they did more damage than good. I was wondering about any possible help or advise as I would like to drive it not just look at it. Thanks 2 all.
  7. Welcome, Look forward to seeing your project come together Steve C

Hello to all, I am new to this forum. I was given a 76 280Z with many little problems, the biggest is electrical. It was a Southern Cal. car. It's FI with a 5sp. Little to no rust w/ minor body damage. I would like to replace the seats with some that have better support (as I'm getting older) for those Oregon trips that I'm planning. Anyone out in Oregon, would enjoy hearing from you. Thanks to one and all Steve
