thanks man did you order the hardware kit with it for the extra $10?

I have searched around a bit on the net and found the black dragon retractable belts for about $110 shipped and the ones on zparts.com for about $180 shipped. anyone have experience with these sets. I want to upgrade the non-retractible ones that came in my 240...Install ease and reliability are my two top factors...thanks in advance

what wheels do you suggest? I was thinking a nice mesh set maybe bbs rs with a big lip...15 or 16 inch so i can slim out the tires a bit but for now i am just enjoying it as is and fixing the little things that pop up...

Built in 9/70 all the Vin's seem to match 75k from what the PO tells me. Been sitting in a garage for 9 years with her and looks like the owner before restored a lot of the interior and did a crappy maco spray job on the outside. Only rust that I find is surface spots on the doors/hatch/and rocker panels. Battery tray and floors look great. here are some pics enjoy...

cool now that you explain it that way I totally see what you guys are saying. didnt bring a z owner to look at it but brought my boss who restores older cars and is a body paint guy that I trust and he gave me a thumbs up on the car. I will do a bit more inspection before I pay them on sunday...thanks for the quick answers...

why do you cringe? i dont mean it looks like someone did touchup on it. I just mean it looked not rusted and coated in something not just bare sheet metal...but when i go to pick it up sunday I will give it a closer look. as far as the underside of the floors they also looked good imo. is that not a good thing? kind of confused now...

thanks it is I believe what you call the horse hair and I am hoping to upgrade to something more modern... there is paint under it and no rust that I could see so I think I am ok on that end...thank you for your help...

have a small crack in the dash of the 240 I am buying and trying to figure what to do about it....dont want to spend a toon on full restore. should I buy one of the dash covers on black dragon automotive or are they junk? thanks

picking up a 71 240 this weekend and it has a new carpet kit from black dragon I believe...but under the carpet is nasty brown crap. the floors are in great condition no rust at all. i want to put some sound dedening material and insulation under the carpet when i take it out to get the brown mess out. what should I use? was thinking i could get what i need at home depot...any ideas? thanks in advance...

Hi I am Jamie and am soon to be a proud owner of a 71 white 240z...picking it up this week sometime, very excited since my last Datsun was a 82 zx rustbucket and this one has little rust and runs great. Just wanted to say hi will post up some pics when I pick it up..
