  1. It happened to me at a red light. I read a few post in the Hybrid and they say the same thing. I'll try it this weekend. Thanks for the help
  2. The push rod wouldn't adjust. (It's stuck) So I put two washers in-between the master and booster. I drove it around the 10 mile loop and they progressively got tighter and tighter until they finally locked up. I unbolted the master and the wheels freed up.
  3. The check valve is in the master?
  4. I'll try this today. Thanks
  5. I tried to adjust the rod but it did the same thing...
  6. 75 Z I installed a new brake booster, 4 piston calipers on the front, disk on the back and a master cylinder off a 82 Z. problem: After putting on brakes in stop and go traffic for about 10 miles the brakes get stiffer and stiffer until they lock up. I can unbolt the master cylinder and the wheels will turn again. bolt it back on and drive again and does it again. question: What is going on man! Is the booster defective? Please help
  7. Looks cool, did you weld the Z emblem in the fill hole?
  8. I have! and after some tuning this thing is quick. Before I received the throttle bodies I did a break upgrade. Converted the drums to disk and put 4 piston calipers on the front. So when I got it running I was testing the new throttle bodies and breaks. Turns out I needed to upgrade the master because I had no breaks! I put a master off a 82 ZX 2+2, had to modify it a little but it works great. Damn this thing is fast!
  9. I was going to order one of the air boxes listed above but thought I should call the guys who designed this system. I'm dealing with Rebello Racing, Dave said he had a backing plate for it and would find a filter that would work. He said not to order one of the boxes until he has a chance to run one on the dyno. I'm running a adaptronic ECU. Having the laptop in the car tweaking and tuning is cool as hell.
  10. Thanks. It's been a slow going project.
  11. Sweet thanks!
  12. working on my 75 Z. I need a air box for the 6 throttle bodies. Does anyone know where I can find one?

Thanks fast Woman I put a new temp sen in it when I put the motor in, but that doesn't mean it's good I'll check it. I smoked the intake and there were no leaks. I need to double check the timing. I'll get back to ya on this thx ~Rosco~

I'm new to the forum thing but I'll get it eventually sorry for my improper etiquette. here's what I have, what I have in it and the problem I'm having. 75z, 3.0 pistons, bigger cam, 240sx turbo injectors, 240sx turbo mass air flow meter with the guts out of my stock air flow, 240sx turbo throttle body, the intake has been honed (board out), header, 2 1/4 exhaust, 80 something zx turbo fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator on the rail. I have the stock ecu and harness. I adjusted the fp to 35 psi and it flooded on cold starts but if you could keep it running at the red lights it would run good wide open. The 02 was reading 1.00-1.50v so I adjusted the tension on the wheel in the air flow meeter and got the 02 down to .5v-.8v. I took it for a ride and had restricted throttle response because there was to much tension on the wheel. I dropped the fp to 25 psi, unplugged the cold start injector and re adjusted the meeter. I lost alot of hp but it started cold and idled at red lights. now the questions; 1. is there any way to lean out the fuel other than the mass air flow? 2. do I have to replace the stock ecu or efi with an after market one? 3. is it flooding when it's cold because of the bigger injectors? thanks for any help ~Rosco~ I'd like to run it at 35psi or better
  22. I thought I would put this built injected motor in and go. I didn't want to change the electronics. I've seen some butchered cars that were converted to carbs and I wasn't impressed.
  23. I wanted it stock excpt for the HP
  24. I have a lot of time and money in it to keep it as stock looking as possible. I thought injectors would be more reliable but thats not the case with the stock electronics
