Ok so im new.... go easy now I'm looking to restore a 240z like the one here (http://superstreet.automotive.com/53342/130-0706-1971-datsun-240-z/photos2-0.html). This will be MY 1st project (but I've worked on friends and families cars) car and just like everybody else, i want to go all out. I want to put in a Rb(20,25,26) in it. So Ive looked every where on the web to find one and all i can find are 2 or 3 thousand dollar ones that are fully rebuilt and shined to look like a baby toy and don't get me wrong i like that. The only problem is i want to do all that my self so where do i find one that was just picked out of a car put in a crate. I found one on eBay for 600 bucks but i cant find it any more it must of been bought. That one had a bad head and a burnt piston. If i could find it again id buy it in a heartbeat cuz that's exactly what i want. Basically i want this car to be an example to show for a business in auto restoration that I'm looking to start so yes it will be top quality work.
