  2. I have the blasting cabinet, although it can be tremendously slow. I have the same blasting basket And I have a similar tumbler Just need to figure out how to get the SS media
  3. They look pretty close. Im not sure I would worry about getting closer than that Edit: you might could scale the picture of the originals until the cable jacket is correct. Then take dimensions from the picture. We would do this all the time in Architecture
  4. Don't assume! Figure out how to direct wire it for testing
  5. I was surfing on my phone at the time and couldn't read the valve covers. Be careful, bad backs are no fun!!

  8. Feel free to PM me questions. I have a good bit of BMW roadster experience. Ive owned like 6 or 7 Z3's and have bought like 6 Z4's
  9. You might want to look at relocating the pump to the trunk. The pump on the Z4 lives in a fish bowl. Also there is a mustang pump that can be used in lieu of the BMW pump. Its cheaper and faster
  10. Be sure and check the shift forks and sliders for wear. The 3rd gear maybe snapping in with slop from the slider

  17. Also some copper to back the hole Helps close them up too. Mind that the copper gets hot very quickly!! Do you not have a metal shop that can brake a section like that for you? I would consider replacing that or at least the worst sections. By the time its clean there wont be much metal left. Several years ago I would have chased those holes. I have come around to the idea that it's overall just easier to get rid of that rotten metal and the chassis is stiffer for it

    Thanks Jeff!
  19. JB weld probably won't work in this situation. It doesn't like to be flexed. Seals holes, drill it, mill it. Can even pull on it, but flexing, not so much
