I am hoping this is not a forum member!!! ? On the upside, it evidently had a running RB setup https://www.copart.com/lot/59964149
  2. I have a set of those vhs videos and a tr6 top frame laying around in my shop. It is a good looking car when done but its a lot of work. I'm not sure I would cut one up now.
  3. The top was my curiosity. More of a roadster than a convertible. There are some metal plates just behind the doors that might accept a top.

They dont seem to vary alot in width. I might just move on versus moving backwards
  5. I have no misconceptions about the US government. Its a big organization and many of its parts are not looking out for the people's best interests only their own. I agree there are lots of entanglements and many of them were inherited from previous administrations. Some from decades ago. But I also realize I dont have all the facts. The president may or may not have all the facts. It depends on whether those below him put them on his desk. The reality of the office, is you are very dependent on a whole lot of people that you dont even know to provide you with good information. Since I dont get to see the classified stuff, its hard to make definitive judgements about whether his decisions are good or bad
  6. Is there a link to see the rest of the pictures?
  7. I am unsure why world organizations have come up with so many rules to make war better. War is ugly and that's just how it is. It's like fighting hand to hand to me. If we fight, you better be prepared, because there are no rules! I suspect the Iranians aren't really totally done, but from here on out will try to have plausible deniability on whatever they dish out next. Part of the problem is that much of the West and America for sure has about a 30 minute memory. These countries in the Middle East are still pissed about stuff that happened 600+ years ago! Now what were you just saying...? ?

What does the rear edge of the door look like? I wouldn't try to close the gap with a filler material. I don't think it will hold up well. If it needs to be closed up, Granny is right about adding a rod down the edge. The fender sort of has to "go where it goes" to fit into the reveal in the rocker panel
  9. Not likely to end in a boots on the ground war. Iran is too large and like Afghanistan and Iraq have shown, impossible to secure. I suspect they will keep exchanging "pleasantries" until someone has had enough. Iran has far more to lose, at least in the short term, like their refining capacity. We live in interesting times...

I suspect it has more to due to how much range of motion the suspension sees. Quality of the roads, steep driveway transitions, spirited driving, etc.

That's a thick chunk of metal!
  15. That is a big caliper or you have really little hands! ?
  16. I believe they all have that. A remnant of the swaging process I was going to tag Jim but I don't know how to do it from my phone
  17. Well done!
  18. All good suggestions. Start with the cheapest recommendation first
  19. Starter solenoid may be going bad. They can go bad even when they sit
  20. I would start with compressed air. Maybe some brake cleaner
  21. I agree 20w-50 is on the thick side. I would run zinc if I could. Royal Purple is good oil too! I run Wix filters on most of my stuff.
  22. I would unhook the lines from the rail and try to blow compressed air into the rail from the return line end. See if it's debris stopping up the end of the rail. The rail may be fuel of garbage or rust even

Russel has a very good reputation
  24. No, it should be open. That being closed off will raise the effective pressure on the float valves

In my build thread, I posted up a link to a company that will make SS hoses for you cheaper than MSA and to a custom length with custom ends based on your needs
