  1. Not much to do but fixed a small leak from the oil pan. Happy about that. And even more happy to have reached 100 sold km/h speedometer plates!!
  2. Fixed my little oil leak from the rear corner of the oil pan.....at least I think I fixed it ; )
  3. Basically a msd box gives you a better/stronger/more stable spark. I have what The zstore calls their Stage 3 cam. In my opinion a good street performance cam, Not to small and not to big, power is good all the way and falls off at about 6400 rpms.
  4. Don't forget that a good ignition system also makes the engine less sensitive to pinging. Ad a Msd box to your zx dizzy and you will have a lot better spark. Aim for just above a cr of 10 and you would be fine, not that important if it's a bit lower. It's better then have to back off the timing. You have access to good fuel in Germany, Im right at cr 10 and i run 36 degrees advance. I use a E88 head with bigger valves like your N42. We have 98 and 95 octane in the pumps here and it runs perfect on both.
  5. I got size 175 or 190 together with my cam kit from zstore. When I did the wipe test I had to correct the size (grind them down) on most of them to get it right.
  6. Regarding the lashpads you will not know for sure till you do a wipe test. Very important to get the geometry setup right.
  7. Placed an order for two new seats. Will take 3-4 weeks before I have them. Think they look great, just hope they are great to sit in aswell.
  8. This will be interesting to follow, as all engine builds are. Thanks for sharing. Please put it on a respectable hub dyno when you are all done. What fuel do you intend to use?
  9. Hi Kats! Very interesting to see a 432R for sale. Please keep us informed what price it brings! //Andreas
  10. Well, got some time over and wanted to put her on steelis for the storage season. dident think the Toyota brakes would clear but they did. Mud flaps made it look a bit like a rally car : )
  11. My thought is that 30-40 sets will sell fast if the cost are in the range 400-500$ then it will slow down to a stop. That's what I think and what stopped me from trying. As you said Gav. These cars are still not there yet were lots of people spend lots of $$ to get oem replicated parts like these covers.
  12. Iv done some research on this subject (without starting a thread) It can be done if you have the tools for it but not many people have that and then it will be very expensive to make them. I had to make batches of 100 at the time to get the company I talked to to even consider making them and it was still expensive as hell.
  13. I have the Toyota brakes and have no clearence problems at all with my rewinds.
  14. Like my konig 15x7. No rubbing at all but would like 15x8. The spokes looks good on these in 15" but not in 16" in my opinion. Tires are harder to find in 15" thats a minus.
  15. Ok. I know they have been extremly busy. I have tried to get hold of Mike aswell but without luck.
  16. If whiteheadperformance is were you have found the Map light, give them a call. Mike have a big interest in jdm parts so he should know that the base is missing. Maybe they have the base to ? Would be strange if the sell an item thats not complete.
  17. Never seen one but i know whiteheadperformance has one for sale.
  18. Yes I walked out to take a photo. I was looking at my winter gear I got when i bought my other 240z (sadly sold that car) Not that i will drive it in the snow and salt but its tempted to throw on the tires with spikes and the mudflaps front/back and take some pics : ) I live in Ödeshög by lake Vättern. //Andreas
  19. Non of them are oem Z mirrors. These are oem mirrors for the s30 fairlady z These are Datsun 510 mirrors (often used on Z cars like on mine , chrome and a bit shorter) These are for the S31 cars
  20. Perfect roads actually, it's a one way road with not many car but alot of pedestrians that like the nature on this mountain. But now the season is over for the Z : (
