  1. I meant Datsun Spirit Alan.
  2. But very discreet.
  3. I see thanks - and also round-ports ! Those are large diameter primary pipes - 44 minimum internal ?
  4. So, spill it - what do you know ?
  5. Isn't Eiji's system a Fujitsubo brought in then ? Never a twin exhaust line - I believe that they were conceived for small cc, high-revving engines and that even stock export engines outgrew them.
  6. Ok, so the words 'fatcory' and 'works' are to be avoided so as not to confuse - thanks. So where, please, does this manifold fit in the scheme of things which the Spots-Option header appears to emulate ? Noted in the catalogue, is this another or the same customer option part ?
  7. Hi Alan, not nit-picking and your views are very helpful but would be easier to demonstrate with image back-ups please to better denote the differences between the Nissan works and all of the 'Sports option'/Datsun Competition versions (are you inferring more than one version for the L-gata ?). How would you describe the Nissan factory race header in the B and W photo above ? Nissan works or ?
  8. I remember someone saying that the Fujitsubo twin exhaust needed work to fit with a 280Z but then I read this "The only thing we had to do was turn the crankcase vent pipe so that it angled forwards and down as it fouled the front primary otherwise." but that is hardly a big problem ! My Street-Sport header is based upon the Nissan works header and the Trust header is closer in conception than the Fujitsubo when you look at the forms of the primary pipes. Mine don't have any fitting problems (I've had some minor issues but these have been ironed out now) and the Race-Sport - never !

There is a bandied-about myth that the ONLY header to have, the 'ultimate' is an equal-length version. This emanated (imho) from flat-out racing designs as these headers are designed/tuned to give the maximum hp possible at a very narrow and therefore specific engine rev range. None of us in our Zs run all the time at high revs and neither do we run at the same revs - what all of us need is to maximise low-down torque that we use for every gear-shift and the Race-Sport is better for that. But the milder (or even stock) the engine, the smaller the difference between the Street-Sport and Race-Sport....so little that it's not 'worth' paying the extra but the more you prepare your engine, the more relevant to fit the Race-Sport header because you'll better exploit that engine or, said another way - return the investment. Effectively the Race and Street-Sport will follow your current set-up....the 'wilder' you go, the more adapted will be the Race-Sport.
  10. I would be very suprised if their headers interfere with the block breather pipe and/or thermostat housing.

Oh, you're hot today although I've been "Sean" of humour recently - it'll grow back !

A convertible would make a great pond-liner though.....

Yeah, well, table wine I usually avoid (like Coca Cola and Pepsi infact) and we have you guys to thank for saving our vines : http://io9.gizmodo.com/how-the-great-french-wine-blight-changed-grapes-forever-1691598233 Come and visit me and we'll do a few caves - nearby is Coteaux de Layon, Chinon, Saumur, muscadet 40mins away (ok, its white but goes very well with the fresh shellfish we get), there are even some decent Vendeen wines but Bordeaux is just down the road.....

Looks very neat and tiday down there paintjob soon and is that a PRC belt I see ?
  16. Only proposing a discount because of paying in full against a May delivery - up until December I did the same deal and with 2016 prices on pre-orders.
  17. Ok, Canada is HUGE, I'm only 2hrs SW of Le Mans and 3 1/2 SW of Paris. I have 1x Street-Sport left under reserve until this weekend. If it sells, I won't have anymore until the next batch in late May. I've already taken a pre-order on that and given the guy a decent reduction for his patience. I have the Race-Sport, Full-Race and lines/mufflers still in stock.
  18. Dutch, not Deutsch as in cloggs and tulips ! Derbyshire is way out from London - about 2hrs drive ! Alors bref, que veux-tu en échappements ?
  19. Car je ne suis pas Français, né à Londres, vier jaren in Nederland gewoond and now 20years in Western France. The French are exactly kind about Quebecois...... English ? born where ?
  20. It does what people expect of it - fish don't climb trees which is why the Classic silencer is available and later on this year the Street muffler for those wanting a more discreet ride but still hearing the 6inline. I offer the choices but all of them work better with the centre box which calms down the 'noise' before any muffler action.
  21. For our Maple leaf friends / pour nos amis, les prix en dollars Canadien ! Prices in CAN$
  22. Hi Marcel. I've been sound (decibel) testing, all on the same car with a Rebello L32 stroker but have a last round to compelte before sharing the results - I've aimed for the worst-case scenario with this car ! No, there will be the Classic and JDM as they are now and the Street muffler which'll double up as a bolt-on track-day muffler to get around those ever-stricter sound-limit testing. Replace your day-to-day muffler with this to avoid being black-flagged - it slips straight on the Zstory exhaust line ! I expect it to be as discreet in profile as the others when mounted on a 240Z - the hammer is there for effect - not needed !
  23. x it by 1.3 and we have a deal !
