EBay they pop up often. Im tracking down the amco items from 1972 myself.

I bought the same set the week they became available. Excellent quality.

I'm 6-1/2 years in. Every time I get close I find more things to do to mine. Debating whether to restore my york ac unit or leave it off and keep the engine compartment looking clean. This one you found looks pretty good.

Thought of something else. The two throttle control boots with metal colors that cover the cable ends in the engine bay.

Ok I'm in if we have found a way to have the taillight bezels reproduced for the 240Z's.

Cadmium plated rear engine tube and the cad plated fuel rail took me a while. So did the correct smog pump and equipment. I am still looking for a 1972 dealer window sticker still. in five years missed out on two of them on eBay. They haven't popped up more then that.

Decided to remove the ac unit from under the glovebox on my 72. Had already taken off all the hoses pully and other items under the hood. Installed the msa firewall insulator. And marveled at how good the z is looking.

Go with the z store (motorsports) they have the best ones. Black dragon items are generic for the most part.

Norm is a great guy and helped me out on several occasions. If your looking for anything he doesn't have he will look for one and either call you or email you with one he aquired for you in his searches. -Taz. IL where Z s are few and far between.

I went the expensive eBay route here. If you choose to go that way be careful with the sizes the offer. Some say they are fore one hose but are smaller than what they said it fit. Type in wire hose clamps to start your search.

Did you get them aerospace coated? I couldn't have been happier when mine arrived.

Ãœber excited about an old nameplate returning. Low end cars might cheapen the name though. But... More Datsun memorabilia, shirts, signs, etc. will be cool. Plus the reintroduction of the Datsun name into the market could increase the popularity of the older models and could help increase the nos parts for older model restorations.

Way too much work needed to bring that one back to life especially at that price. Don't even look back at this one.

Mild winter gave me a chance to swap out hoses for a new braided set. Also dropped a 1509 watt sub woofer into the spare tire well. Subwoofer case looks like a tire with a z center cap rim .

Ok ok now you guys have me trying to get a set of these too for my 05/72 Z. Will update you after I get an email response from them.

I too have bought quite a bit from ready but only on the rare things that MSA doesn't offer. No problems with them at all.

I've seen it on several 240z and wondered what it was myself. With that are you saying that it was only on the 73-74 Z's firewall? I've got a 05/72 and though the jackass who owned the car before me removed half the original items from under the hood have spent 6-1/2 years bringing it back to its former glory. I do not think my z had one but could you confirm this?

Ok so I know I said I wasn't interested in the bumper overriders but ended up buying a front on on eBay anyway. Not sure if I'll install it but will have the ability to change my mind later on.

I prefer the scavenger hunt of locating the period correct accessories that were originally offered for the car.

It's the cold midwest winter so I've been running out of items for my project car. The parcel bar is a bar that extends the length of the luggage deck behind the seats approx 5 inches high. It blocks items from sliding forward into the seats. And the reason for lack of posts was password memory fail. I'll be on here more often now that there is an iPad and android ap.
